Chapter 328 - C328 : The Bloodlust Bride

Across the world, on a peninsula jetting far out into the vast ocean, Telskyura, a veritable flood of monsters came from the sea on all sides. This was a completely unnatural way for them to act around these parts, and though they were weak on their own, they had vast numbers.

The reason for their unnatural response was all thanks to the hellish seen above the domain of clouds. Where an unnatural thunder beats with the sound of dragon's roars, and strikes not of lightning but of the air crying to bend out of the way trembling being in such close proximity to the spawn of the incarnation of destruction.

Amazoness were mobilized in what could only be described as immense numbers bordering on what was thought to be impossible. Under normal circumstances Kali would never risk showing her hand for the world to see, but now it was made clear, her army of amazoness was easily 10 times larger than Rakia's. Though the vast majority of them were still young, and only level 1.

As the brutal fight beneath the forecast of destruction carried on… One word could be used to describe the scene, bloodbath.

Fortunately for them they still had all four of their level 5 members. Each taking a place in command on the major fronts.

"FIGHT ON!" Argana commanded, covering herself in monster blood, she began a veritable monster in her own right, while also becoming the kind of model for the others to look up to, invigorating the others to fight more ferociously, powerfully, brutally… Never stopping, never ceasing.

"Watch them die! Isn't it such a beautiful sight!" Bache laughed as her poison laid waste to the monsters, each of them spasming in their death throes. The sight of a captain's power gave rise to many other amazoness to fight harder, and longer. It was truly a terrible sight, yet also wonderful in its own way.

"KILL THEM ALL! AHAHAHA!" Belnas laughed out in maniacal fashion. Her crazed fighting style being the most reminiscent of the Telskurian Amazoness' path. The front she commanded was clearly able to see just how she fought, and attempted the same things.

"I, Elnea, will not be out done by my peers. It's time for a banquet of DEATH!" Her way of fighting was also incredibly similar to the traditional Telskyurian style, with one key difference… She was calm… Yet it made the sight of her slicing and dicing up and down the coast all the more inspiring.

While they were indeed making great efforts, the horde they were facing was borderline equivalent to the entirety of the monster population living in the vast oceans. Even so, they fought incredibly well. However, it was clear that when an amazoness knew she was going to die, instead of choosing to retreat and heal she'd willingly throw herself on a fellow's brutal death blow. Thus following through on continuing to fight on through them, as such, not a single amazoness bore the indignity of dying to a monster, they refused to give the monsters the satisfaction.

They were soon going to face the wrath of the dragons in the sky. Clearly incapable of handling that battle, they were eagerly awaiting some aid, though none of them expected any, thus they fought even harder.

"This really is a hell of a mess." Kali let a small smirk appear as she watched the battle, feeling all of the death around her, souls passing through her body and into Tenkai. "At least they're all dying in the right way, I knew it all along, my amazoness are just the best…" She said, then felt a new presence next to her. "Aren't they?"

"They certainly aren't bad. But they're nothing more than food to those monstrosities in the sky up there." A woman's voice said in a clear, yet unbothered tone. It almost sounded like she enjoyed the sight.

"So, Rakia isn't the only place gaining a defender?"

"Nope, as many of us that bothered to try and come back, are coming back. Something about being slapped aside like we were trash never sat well with us." The owner of the voice added in a scoff towards the end, her tone shifting to one of blood fueled rage. "Now that everything that needs to be said for now, has been said… I suppose I ought to go teach these overgrown flying lizards what it means to die."

The woman left in a single leap, into the fray she went, turning the dragons into pulverized meaty bodies, like ground meat. Kali watched with a sinisterly bright expression as she watched the ultimate amazoness slaughtering the dragons with a recklessly onesided display of total domination.

"You really have grown a considerable degree. Before the defeat of your familias, it took the collective might of both to tear apart the Behemoth and the Leviathan. Now, with creatures like this, in these numbers, I'd say it's almost a similar degree of threat, if not worse. Yet… You're carving through it with a bloodlusted smile plastered on your face… Oh how I want to make sweet love to the warrior you've become, Caotan, the Bloodlust Bride."

From there on, the battle became more even. And the sight of Caotan dropping dragons like flies, despite the maelstrom of them, only served to lift the spirits of all amazoness on the battle fronts. The seas ran red with blood, and black with monster ash.

Watching from the colosseum in Orario, which had been converted into a massive entertainment place with hundreds of mirrors meant to give as much of a view of the battle as possible. Several amazoness still too weak to bother fighting in the big battles outside were inspired, as if their blood boiled, they needed to fight something, or they needed to indulge in sexual fantasy unlike any other.

The effects of Caotan's return spread far and wide, much in the same way that Gale's did. Only in her case, it made all amazoness burn with a greater spirit. In Gale's case, all wind magic strengthened without question. They had both returned as grand spirits, allowing them to have such a powerful effect just from their own reappearance. What will happen when more return?
