Finn explained everything, including why Ultear had joined a dark guild and how she had restored the Tenrou Tree.
"So, I'd like Ultear to join Fairy Tail. What do you think, Master?" Finn asked, turning to Makarov after finishing his explanation.
Everyone was surprised.
Ultear stepped forward hesitantly.
"Um… I'm deeply sorry for the things I did to hurt you in the past!"
She bowed deeply.
Even though she hadn't directly attacked Fairy Tail, her guild, her former comrades, had harmed them.
Ultear felt deeply ashamed.

"Ultear!!" A cry of surprise rang out from the back of the crowd.
Everyone parted to make way.
Meredy, having finally woken up, had seen Ultear.
The little girl, who Juvia said never smiled, now had a radiant smile on her face.
She ran through the crowd and threw herself into Ultear's arms.
"What are you doing here?" Ultear asked, her voice filled with joy.
Hearing Ultear's question, Meredy looked at Juvia and Mirajane.
She explained what had happened to her.
Ultear was grateful to them for not killing Meredy.
She gained a deeper understanding of Fairy Tail.
This guild, founded on the ideal of love, seemed to be able to embrace everything.
In this environment, she felt a strong sense of remorse, regretting all of her past actions.
In the past, she had always thought of her life as her "First Life."
