Chapter 136
Harry turned around to see the source of the loud commotion behind him.
He spotted a snow-white owl perched on the edge of a snowy rooftop.
The owl tilted its head to the right, as if pointing to something, but Harry couldn't understand its message.
He ignored it and moved forward, only to suddenly come face-to-face with Professor Snape approaching him.
Harry's heart raced with fear he had expected Snape might notice him, and indeed, he had.
Earlier, a gust of wind had briefly lifted Harry's Invisibility Cloak around his feet, revealing him to Snape.
Before Snape could reach him, the white owl swooped down from the roof and chirped loudly.
The owl distracted Snape by scratching at his robes and making noise, giving Harry precious seconds to escape unnoticed.
Once the owl saw that Harry had fled, it stopped harassing Snape.
Snape, furious, ran after Harry, but after a while, realized he wouldn't catch him.
An hour passed since the incident.
Later, Professor McGonagall sent her students to explore the beautiful, historic sites of Hogsmeade village.
Most of the students visited the mountains, which weren't yet fully covered in snow, discovering many delightful sights.
After a short while:
Hermione said, "I think Albert and Harry are probably bored by now, don't you, Ron?"
Ron replied, "I suppose so! The school is empty, and they're probably resting. But I bet Albert will just spend his time reading. I'll never understand how you two can enjoy reading books. If I read one, my head would explode!"
Hermione smiled and said, "I think it's because we're clever! Not everyone is the same."
Ron felt teased and got annoyed with her.
At that moment, Draco Malfoy and his friends appeared on the path, approaching Ron and Hermione, who were admiring the view.
Draco sneered, "Oh, look at this! The poor boy with the mud-blood girl talking together! Are you secretly dating or what? Hahaha!"
His friends laughed along with him.
(Mud-blood refers to a wizard whose parents are not of pure magical blood, although they possess some magical ability.)
Hermione stepped forward, furious at Draco's insult, ready to strike him.
Before she could reach Draco and his friends, Draco's hat suddenly disappeared without warning.
At the same time, the pants of his chubby friend, Crabbe, fell down embarrassingly.
Crabbe shouted, "Damn it! What's happening?! Why did my pants fall?!"
Draco turned around to see who had taken his hat, only to find no one behind him.
Suddenly, Draco himself was lifted and spun around uncontrollably, screaming in terror as he struggled to keep his balance.
Draco shouted, "Aaaah!! What's happening?! Stop!! Stop!!"
Finally, Draco and his friends ran away, panicked, not understanding what had just occurred.
Ron and Hermione couldn't stop laughing at the scene.
But Ron didn't yet know who had caused this chaos.
Suddenly, Ron's hat began moving on its own.
Ron panicked, pointing to Hermione to show her.
Hermione, still laughing, said, "Come on, Harry! Show yourself! Hahaha!"
Ron felt confused by Hermione's words.
Hermione added, "What? Harry?! Where is he?!"
Finally, Harry revealed himself, removing his Invisibility Cloak, and laughed uncontrollably.
