Chapter 137

Harry and Hermione were laughing hard at what had happened to Draco and Malfoy.

Ron was initially tense, but seeing them laugh, he couldn't resist and soon joined in.

After a few moments, however, Ron froze in place, trembling and pointing toward Harry.

Harry and Hermione both noticed his fear.

Harry asked, "What's wrong, Ron? Why are you so scared?"

He turned around to see what Ron was pointing at.

To his shock, Draco's floating hat hovered through the air, moving toward them.

Ron couldn't comprehend what was happening and started screaming and running.

Harry also began to flee, having just seen the strange event moments ago.

Hermione, however, froze in place, paralyzed.

Harry and Ron realized they were cornered; escaping would require crossing a wooden bridge, and both were terrified of heights.

The floating hat passed in front of Hermione and moved toward where Harry and Ron had stopped.

The two huddled together in fear, but Harry drew his wand and pointed it at the hat.

As soon as he did, the hat fell directly to the ground.

Harry, surprised, waved his wand randomly in several directions.

Seeing the hat finally on the ground, Hermione ran over to her friends to check on them.

Moments later, Albert appeared exactly where the hat had landed, clutching his stomach from laughing so hard.

Albert said, "Hahaha! I never imagined this trick would work on you guys! Hahaha!"

He wiped tears of laughter from his eyes.

Ron and Harry were furious, especially since they hadn't expected Albert to appear in Hogsmeade.

Ron approached Albert, saying, "Albert, you scared us! Don't ever do that again!"

Albert placed a hand on Ron's shoulder, still laughing. "Hahaha, alright, alright! I won't do it again!"

Hermione walked up and threw a snowball at Albert's head. "You really frightened us, Albert!"

Albert looked back and saw Hermione was very angry.

He raised his hand in apology. "I'm really sorry! I guess I crossed the line."

Hermione stepped closer. "Alright, forget it. But how did you get here? Did any of the teachers see you on the way?"

Albert smiled. "No one could detect me on my way here! What do you think of that?"

After saying this, Albert vanished from sight as quickly as he had appeared.

Harry, stunned, exclaimed, "Huh?! What's happening?! Where did Albert go?!"

Ron was equally shocked, expecting that only Harry, with his Invisibility Cloak, could disappear so effectively.

Hermione, too, was amazed—what surprised her most was Albert's mastery of the spell, to the point she couldn't sense his presence or even his breath.

Albert reappeared in the same spot, giving Hermione a thumbs-up.

Albert said, "What do you think of that?!"

Hermione smiled. "Sometimes I tell myself I'll never reach your level of magic. But I think I've found your weak point: knowledge. In that, I can surpass you!"

Albert grinned. "Well, since you're the only one who can surpass me in that, you really have the talent. Nothing is impossible for you, and I think you can truly surpass me!"

Moments later, the four of them walked together, chatting and laughing nonstop.

But…
