Chapter 138
After the four of them walked together to the place where they had first met Albert,
they continued until they reached the area they had originally come from,
which was now crowded with people and students.
Albert spotted a shop bustling with customers, so he told his friends he would return shortly to pick up something from it, knowing no one in that shop would recognize him.
Meanwhile, the trio walked a little further and saw Professor McGonagall with Minister Fudge, talking to a mysterious woman about something.
The woman asked, "Why has the Minister come here?"
Professor McGonagall, speaking softly, replied, "This is highly confidential! The Minister came because he suspects the criminal Sirius Black will inevitably show up here!"
The elderly woman looked puzzled, unable to comprehend what McGonagall meant. "What? Why would a criminal come here?"
McGonagall glanced at Minister Fudge, seeking clarification.
He silently gestured to her, and she understood the message. "Alright, I can't explain it here. Let's go inside the inn; you'll learn everything there."
The three entered the inn, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron overheard McGonagall's words exactly.
Hermione was shocked and couldn't process the situation. She even noticed Harry wearing his Invisibility Cloak as he prepared to enter the inn.
Harry managed to enter the inn without being seen by anyone.
However, Hermione and Ron could not enter due to the inn's law prohibiting minors from entering, so they returned to their spots, waiting for Harry to come out.
Harry followed McGonagall, Minister Fudge, and the elderly woman up to the inn's second floor.
Once inside, still wearing his Invisibility Cloak to remain unseen, he listened as McGonagall explained the danger of this criminal from the beginning.
McGonagall said, "Sirius Black is an extremely dangerous criminal! Thirteen years ago, he was a follower of You-Know-Who! He was the traitor among his friends: James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew!"
"After learning of the prophecy that would lead to You-Know-Who's downfall, he delivered it to him because he was a follower. It is therefore possible to say that Sirius Black is the one who killed James and Lily Potter!"
Hearing this shocking news from Professor McGonagall,
Harry ran out of the inn, tears streaming down his face.
He couldn't bear it and began to cry uncontrollably.
Meanwhile…
Albert was waiting his turn inside the shop to pick out sweets for himself and his friends, especially since it had been a long time since he enjoyed treats.
After selecting what hewanted, he left the shop happily.
