"Commander Azoff! Commander Coogler! The soldiers are here finally!" A soldier ran up to them outside from the control room to inform them about the arrival of the back-up soldiers.
"Let's go Coogler!" Azoff walks down the stage along with that soldier towards the control room.
Coogler is still looking at the other soldiers who are still evacuating the public from the Central Square by getting them into the Military Trucks. There were more than 100 left to get into the trucks.
"Can't believe that our beautiful day could take such a devastating turn like this!" Tyrell speaks up, he was also looking at the public.
Coogler turns his eyes towards Tyrell and says, "You are still here?"
"Same goes for you!" Tyrell added, "Aren't you supposed to go with Azoff?"
"Yeah!" Coogler turned around, about to get away from there, "Beware!"
"You too!"
"Call each and every soldier and even the Police officers and order them to gather at the South-eastern part of the town." Azoff orders the soldiers in the control room, "We have to stop the monsters there, at any cost!"
"Otherwise, we will lose more and more of our civilians." Coogler adds from behind, he was also in the Control Room.
"Coogler? You are here!" Azoff turns around.
"I think we should also leave for South-east without wasting any time here!" Coogler said.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Both Azoff and Coogler leave the control room quickly, while the soldiers are still looking at them.
"Mr. Mayor!" A soldier enters Alden's office in his bunker to inform him about the situation outside.
"What is it?" Alden asked.
The soldier standing in salute position replied, "300 soldiers have finally arrived here in Elyria from the Military Base. Commander Coogler and Commander Azoff had ordered them to arrive at South-western Side of the town, as they are willing to fight against the monsters there, to stop them from causing more destruction!"
"Keep informing me about the situation, within every five minutes!" Alden added.
"Yes Sir!" The soldier replied.
"You can leave now!"
The soldier didn't say a single word and quickly left Alden's office, closing the door behind while leaving.
Meanwhile, Tyrell had finally arrived outside the bunker of Alden, as per Alden's call, he was being accompanied by the same soldier whom Alden had asked to call Tyrell upon his arrival.
"The mayor is very much worried about the situation!" The soldier speaks while walking towards Alden's office along with Tyrell.
"I know how he is feeling currently!" Tyrell said, "Afterall, he's the Mayor of his town."
When they had arrived outside the door of Alden's office, the soldiers opened the door for Tyrell. Before entering inside, Tyrell thanked the soldier and then he closed the door behind.
After entering inside, Tyrell waited for three seconds and then asked, "Did you call me?"
"Yeah! Have a seat!" Alden added, he was looking at the map of Elyria Town lying on his desk. Tyrell walks up to the desk and sits down on one of the chairs in front of the desk.
On the other hand, Azoff and Coogler had also reached the South-eastern side; upon their arrival they saw that 300 soldiers from the military base and more 150 soldiers and police officers of Elyria were waiting for them.
"Everyone's here! Commander!" Ray speaks up loudly, he was also here. He had sent the injured soldier to the other soldiers , who were taking the injured ones for treatment.
"Listen everyone! We need to hold off the Monsters. Protect the civilians. We can't let them destroy our town so easily." Commander Coogler speaks at his loudest.
The soldiers nodded, their faces set with resolve, that they have to stop those monsters at every cost. All of them were equipped with guns, explosives, swords, they were even wearing armors for their protection.
They knew the task ahead of them would be brutal, but they were determined to defend their town and the civilians, no matter the cost.
"Prepare yourself, get into position! They will surely arrive at any moment." Azoff added.
The soldiers who are to fight with swords, were holding shields with their left hands for their protection. All of them standing in position, looking at all sides waiting for the monsters to arrive.
After waiting for a few minutes, the monsters were visible from a distance, running towards the soldiers from all the directions. As it seems that they also knew the soldiers waiting for them.
"I think they are trying to surround us on all sides!" A soldier exclaimed.
"I also think so!" Another soldier added.
"Fuck! They are trying to surround us!" Coogler had also quickly realized the monster's movement, " Everyone, don't wait for them to arrive! Charge at them or we will be completely surrounded by them within seconds!"
All of the soldiers charged at the monsters, the ones who were holding shields were in the front, protecting the others from the monsters. They were actually fighting on a large five lane lane, crossing between buildings on both sides.
The soldiers close-in to the monsters, one of the soldiers tries to block a monster's attack with the shield and then he tries to cut off his throat, but he misses it. He tried again but the monster seemed to be dodging his attack.
Coogler and Azoff were also fighting along them, Coogler was holding a gun and a sword at the same time, while Azoff was fighting with a sword and a shield.
Coogler fires at one of the monster's eyes three times, and then quickly beheads it when it has gone blind for seconds. He continued the same process three or four times.
Some of the monsters were continuously attacking the soldiers with their claws, when they had noticed that the humans were protecting themselves with something hard.
Some of them even had tried to kill those monsters with explosives, they would throw the grenades into the monsters mouth after pulling off their pins. Some of the monster's heads had exploded as soon as they caught the bombs in their mouths, but some were still too strong to survive the explosions.
Few bombs had even exploded inside the monster's stomach as they had swallowed the bombs. Their organs coming out of their stomach holes, bloods continuously draining still, they were fighting against the soldiers.
The battlefield had turned into a lake of blood again, as the number of death counts kept increasing, but not of the monsters, it was of the soldiers.
As the battle between the soldiers and the monsters raged on, the town of Elyria descended into more chaos, civilians running for their lives, some soldiers were left behind to help those. Large public places turned into refugee camps for them.
The South-eastern part was in ruins, the buildings reduced to rubble, the streets filled with the bodies of the dead and the dying, roads turned into a river of blood, human body parts lying all over the place and the death counts kept increasing every minute.
