Seun is on the floor, cradling Anwil in his arms in a way that shields the baby. In front of them is a massive, badly wounded brown bear, fighting off two cloaked men.
That's Kishan. My throat tightens, and just then Seun looks up. Our eyes meet, and the fear I see in his eyes wraps fingers around my heart that squeeze tightly.
The bear in front of him turns to him, and I swallow as I watch Seun then shift into a completely white bear with bright blue eyes. He's massive but not as big as Kishan. With one last look at me, he covers Anwil completely in his arms and runs off in the opposite direction.
What's going on??
My gaze shifts back to Koda, King Wilhlem, Zephan and Rhydian who are fighting to protect each other, but above all shield their Father.
My vision blurs as a subtle ringing takes up my head. The screaming, the smell of fire, and fear… everything… Is too much.
