"You guys continue, I won't be joining, enjoy your meal." She picked up her bag and left, not interacting with Luke Gardiner at all.
Luke Gardiner looked at her empty seat, then at the partially eaten ice cream cake on her plate, which had already melted a bit. He stared at it for a moment, then picked up a spoon and scooped a bite.
The taste was sweet and smooth, but he found it a little too sweet.
After tasting it, he simply brought the half plate to himself and slowly scooped it to eat.
Michael Archer teased, "Is it good?"
"I haven't seen you eat desserts from here before."
Daniel Knight also chimed in, looking at the waiter, "That... give me a serving of the dessert he has in front of him."
The waiter served quickly, he took a small spoonful and frowned, "It doesn't taste that good."
"It can't compare to Luke's, of course."
