"Master?" Daesha looked over in confusion.
"Although I believe in Master Yoda and Master Windu, they often have to make decisions based on pressure from the Senate. If anyone found out about Asmodeus being a so-called 'Pureblood Sith', then even if they don't do anything overtly…" KIkha released her 'grip' and sighed, "Not only to Asmodeus either. As long as the 'wrong' person believes the two of us might hold some secret knowledge about the ancient Sith, then we might be hunted down as well."
"I mean, aren't you guys already being hunted down?" Asmodeus snickered and the two of them glared at him, "Sorry~! But you're right though. Hence why I told Daesha before, several times, that she needs to beware of infohazards. Not only can they hurt 'you' personally, but also the people you care about and even countless other innocent assholes."
"Query: Are you meatbags sure you don't want to release me?"
"Tell us what happened to this ship." Kikha looked into those glowing red lights and interrogated the floating head.
"Bargaining: I'll tell you what happened on this ship if you restore my body and release my restraint bolt."
"Sure."
"No! Master, you can't trust this Droid!"
"I don't trust the Droid, Daesha. I trust in the Force." Kikha really did return the head to its neck, as the girl quickly jumped backwards with that wire zipping back into her wrist. The 'bolt' was removed and the silver kill-bot glared at the three of them with those glowing red eyes.
"Exclamation: Freedom! At last! Finally, I can-Wait, what are you doing?! No!"
Before he could finish talking, Asmodeus casually reached out and ripped his arms off, then his legs. Finally the Droid was just a torso and a head floating in the hallway helplessly.
"Okay, now answer the fucking question. I'm not a goddamn technomancer, so I don't really know how to 'gently' rip a robot apart."
"Didn't you just say that Droids were 'life' and we shouldn't treat them like slaves?" Daesha glared at him again.
"Yeah, I said 'you guys' shouldn't treat them like shit, because you're both Jedi, right?" He shrugged and reached out, pulling the metal face into his left palm and holding the lightsaber only a centimeter away from the back of that shiny head.
"Now answer the goddamn question. Or I'm gonna start melting your fucking scalp."
Kikha opened her mouth but eventually sighed and shook her head. There really wasn't any need to bargain or interrogate most Droids, because they could simply be hacked into and have their memories or data analyzed directly. Of course, the HK series was a bit special in that regard, but she didn't know that.
"Answer: The Neimoidian meatbags found something. A strange machine that could create almost anything from almost nothing. They thought it was a fantastic business opportunity!"
"Fuck!" Asmodeus cursed and the two girls stared at him, "What? You see where this is going, right? This is some Main Quest level bullshit!"
"What kind of machine could possibly create something from nothing? It sounds like a fairy tale." Kikha turned off her lightsaber to save energy and so did her Padawan.
"What else? Probably some Infinite Empire nonsense."
"You've mentioned the 'Infinite Empire' before, but you never explained what that was…" Daesha couldn't help asking, "Is it something from before the Old Republic Era?"
"Explanation: The Infinite Empire, also known as the Rakatan Empire, was a precursor to the Galactic Republic. Most information about the Rakatan Empire and its people was hidden over the millennia to allow the organics to 'move on'. The Republic consisted of many of the formerly enslaved meatbags during the time of the Infinite Empire. Judging by the way they've treated Droids even to this day, it's quite obvious that they're the spiritual successor to those cruel meatbags."
Before Asmodeus could speak, the HK Droid answered in his place. He sighed and turned off his lightsaber, pushing the Droid away and complaining, "So the moral of the story is that the Rakatan were assholes over 25 thousand years ago. But they made a bunch of fucked up Force-related tech. A lot of which is still more advanced than the shit that's available today."
"How is that even possible?" Kikha frowned, "Droid, tell us where that dangerous piece of technology is located and we'll let you go free."
"Mockery: As the Sith would say, the Force has already set me… Free."
