Her words hung thickly in the air sultry, persuasive, and far too confident. It wasn't merely an offer. It was a demand soaked in desire.
But Razeal didn't move.
He simply stood there, eyes calm, expression unreadable, his thoughts running deeper than his still exterior revealed. He wasn't stupid enough to jump at a decision like this, no matter how enticing the deal sounded.
Sure, on the surface, the offer didn't seem bad at all in fact, it sounded too good. She was strong, ancient, and undeniably powerful. And if he could learn from her gain some of that strength, some of that mastery over dark magic then maybe it could actually benefit him.
