Chapter 15 - Training for a Week

My eye twitched as I stared at Seo, my squirrel familiar, who was currently vibrating with excitement Smug and Prideq

I glanced at Luna, who Still Hugging Me With a Flushed Face seeing me close..

Sitting down she cough awkwardly then Looked at Seo

Clearly thrilled by Seo's progress. Meanwhile, Moon—floating beside her like an indifferent ghost—tilted her head in confusion,

her expression innocent yet oddly judgmental. The contrast between the two made me sigh.

Smiling gently, I raised a hand, gesturing for both Luna and Moon to listen before I could even get a word out.

"Wait—"

Before I could finish my sentence, Seo's eyes lit up like twin stars. Perched confidently on the rooftop railing, a smug little smirk tugged at his furry lips. In a single bound,

he leapt down and landed in my hand with flair, puffing his chest out like a boastful warrior returning from battle.

"I already reached the late stage of Qi refinement!" he squeaked excitedly, his tail flicking back and forth like an overcaffeinated metronome.

"I feel fifty percent stronger! My body feels weird—like if I combine Qi and Mana, I'll be... invincible!"

I blinked. His tiny fists were clenched, and his pupils sparkled with hope, mischief, and maybe a hint of overconfidence. It was hard to tell with squirrels.

Seo clearly had one thing on his mind his survival. Especially during the approaching Calamity. With his newfound strength, he probably thought he could take on a dragon.

But before I could train him any further, I needed to give him proper techniques—something suited to his body and talents. After pondering for a few minutes, I made my decision.

Reaching out, I tapped his forehead with two fingers.

A warm glow enveloped Seo's body as knowledge rushed into his little squirrel brain. His fur stood on end,

and he let out an excited chitter, wiggling his tail so fast it became a blur. He now knew Sand Step and Sharp Claw, two physical-type techniques powered by Qi, not mana or magic.

He practically bounced in place.

"I wanna try it! I know how to do it! It's all in here!" he said, tapping his head rapidly with both paws.

I opened my mouth to warn him not to use Sand Step just yet—his proficiency was far too low for it—but before I could utter a word, he had already activated it.

"Wait, no—!"

Too late.

My eye twitched again as Seo suddenly zipped across the room. Each of his steps launched him forward in a comically

exaggerated leap—about a meter per stride. He wasn't running; he was bouncing like a possessed rubber ball.

The poor squirrel was clearly struggling to control the momentum.

"Too fast! Too fast! This isn't running—this is flying by mistake!" he squeaked, crashing into my bookshelf and sending Books flying everywhere.

I sighed as he continued to slam into furniture, toppling a chair, then a lamp, and then Luna's carefully organized stack of Books.

"I'm going to throw him out," I muttered under my breath.

But fate beat me to it.

With one particularly chaotic misstep, Seo flew straight out the open window like a rocket on fire.

Luna burst into laughter, clutching her stomach as she fell to her knees, tears forming in her eyes. "He—he just launched himself like a squirrel cannonball!"

Moon hovered silently, arms crossed, watching the commotion unfold. Her face was as blank as ever, but there was definitely a glimmer of mockery in her eyes.

She looked at Seo as if Seo was a Dumb squirrel that is too arrogant But what she thought was True

i then Clapped my hands, snapping both girls back to attention.

"Alright. Since Moon hasn't possessed your body yet, you can observe for now," I said, glancing at her. "You'll be practicing it tonight."

She gave a slow, solemn nod—like a noble penguin being entrusted with royal duties. Luna,

however, looked fiercely determined. Her posture straightened, and her eyes blazed with ambition it was Cute and Adorable.

I stepped forward and gently placed two fingers on her forehead, imparting a powerful cultivation technique

One that was considered the best up until the Nascent Soul stage.

Her eyes lit up immediately. Smiling, she crossed her legs and entered a meditative pose, beginning her cultivation without hesitation.

Within moments, the first layer broke.

Then the second.

My jaw dropped. "Already!?"

She beamed at me, smug yet sweet. "Cultivating is Quite Relaxing..."

I Smiled satisfied Since She truly Have Heavenly Talent

With a reluctant sigh, I sat down to cultivate as well, entering my own trance.

Meanwhile, Moon floated in slow circles, visibly bored, not knowing what to do with herself. Her expression remained blank,

But every once in a while, she let out a sigh so deep it sounded like the soul of an ancient ghost yearning for better entertainment.

Outside, Seo was now in the forest, practicing Sharp Claw on trees. His tiny paws slashed through wood with ease, leaving deep gashes. With his current strength

Despite being only a 2-Star peak layer beast

his battle power rivaled that of a 3-Star mid-layer one thanks to his body enhancements.

Days passed like this.

Eventually, night fell.

Luna yawned, exhausted from intense cultivation. Without resistance, she allowed Moon to take over her body. The moment Moon possessed her, she sat down, closed her eyes, and began cultivating with frightening precision.

She had inherited the technique as well, and unlike Luna's bubbly eagerness, Moon's cultivation was calm, mechanical, and frighteningly efficient.

As for me, my efforts bore fruit too. I reached the Mid Layer of Foundation Establishment, and thanks to not rushing like in my Last Life, my foundation was rock-solid.

And just like that, a week flew by.

In that time, I had taught both Luna and Moon the basics of Sword Qi. With their absurd Heavenly Talent, both had grasped it quickly—though still not as skillfully as me. Still, they surpassed most ordinary cultivators in mere days.

Luna reached the peak of Qi Refinement.

Seo, the squirrel who once thought a nut was the height of power, had now reached the Early Layer of Foundation

Establishment. Both of his techniques were fully mastered, and he strutted around like a tiny furry general.

During that week, I even managed to convince my father to allow Luna to join me in the Academy. My excuse? "She can heal me, and she's an excellent support."

He agreed—reluctantly. Thank the heavens he didn't ask what my familiar was. If he saw a smug squirrel waving a sharp claw around like a tiny samurai, he might've had a heart attack on the spot.

Meanwhile, my own cultivation soared. I reached Peak Layer of Foundation Establishment, and my golden body

cultivation had reached the 7th Layer. My body now looked more defined—muscular, though my abs were still playing hide-and-seek beneath the surface. A work in progress.

I also cultivated the Peerless Beauty technique, hoping to become a little more... aesthetically pleasing.

The change wasn't as dramatic as I expected, but my features were sharper, more refined. I looked better Better than ordinary handsome Boy.

Luna and Moon had both noticed it and Praised Me giving me a Smug Look i Slapped my face

Muscle Memory i Guess and right Now it's the Time

Now it was time to help Seo reach the 3-Star rank.

And i already had plans for Seo Calamity..
