At nine o'clock the next morning, the meeting room in the Hokage building was already filled with numerous jōnin. At the head of the room sat the Third Hokage, Arima, and the Third Raikage, A, co-chairing the conference.
Once all attendees listed had arrived, Arima glanced at Koharu beside him and gave her a small nod.
Koharu then struck the wooden gavel beside her. The low murmur of conversation below fell silent instantly.
Arima swept his gaze across the gathered shinobi and spoke in a clear, powerful voice.
"Decades ago, countless shinobi clans were locked in constant warfare just to survive. Those years of war inflicted wounds on every one of us, wounds that time alone could not heal.
Later, the various clans joined together to form hidden villages, giving us a true place to call home. But the shadow of war never truly lifted.
Today, we finally stand at the threshold of peace. The shinobi world is moving toward unity, and from now on, we all belong to one great family!"
The crowd erupted into applause. Many among them felt honored to witness and participate in a moment of such historic significance.
Arima then began presenting the proposal he had jointly drafted with the other Kage. One by one, they reviewed and deliberated each article of the plan in detail.
At the same time, Arima's clone stationed at the frontlines in the Land of Rain relayed updates from Konoha in real-time, hosting a parallel summit with the other Kage.
The initial draft required many adjustments, filling in details, amending policies, and tailoring certain laws to local contexts. As such, the conference stretched across three full days.
In the spirit of peace, equality, and mutual support, the five great nations signed an alliance agreement.
The pact outlined four core resolutions: peaceful resolution of regional conflicts, coordinated joint operations in times of war, establishment of a Shinobi World Peace Council, and creation of a Unified Shinobi Enforcement Force.
The event came to be known as the "Konoha Peace Conference," and the 26th year of the Konoha calendar was officially declared the first year of the Shinobi Era.
Arima was appointed as the first Chairman of the Council, while the other four Kage became Deputy Chairmen, tasked with maintaining peace and security across the world.
Arima also announced the appointment of Isshiki as the Council's first Chief Security Advisor.
Though most of the attendees had never heard of this mysterious figure named Isshiki, the five Kage knew full well how formidable he was.
None of the Deputy Chairmen objected to Arima's nomination, and the appointment passed smoothly without resistance.
During the same conference, Arima proposed his first independent motion as Chairman: to establish three new departments in each region, Agriculture, Medical, and Scientific Research.
Having already discussed this plan extensively with the other Kage beforehand, the motion was quickly approved.
Following the conference, intelligence officers from each village spread news of the peace accord rapidly across the entire continent.
Within six months, nearly every nation in the shinobi world had joined the Alliance.
At last, Arima's vision of a united shinobi world had become reality.
At the beginning of Year Two of the Shinobi Era, space-time transportation barriers were installed in nearly every major city, requiring only two chūnin teams to maintain them.
By August of Year Two, a research team led by the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju, the Second Raikage, Orochimaru, and Hiruko, with the aid of the Third Kazekage's Magnet Release, succeeded in inventing the world's first electric generator and motor.
The shinobi world had officially entered the electrical age!
In February of Year Three, the same team developed the first electric light rail train.
In just six short months, with cooperation from local ninja and civilians, electrical grids extended across the entire continent.
Thanks to the support of "tool man" Kazekage, the research team also discovered numerous rich mineral deposits, rare earths, tungsten, copper, aluminum, and more.
By the end of October in Year Three, tungsten filament light bulbs successfully replaced traditional kerosene lamps and went into mass production.
That New Year's Eve, countless homes across the shinobi world were lit up by electric lights for the very first time.
At the start of Year Four, Arima took a rare break from his endless duties to spend the New Year with his family.
That night, after his mother took little Natsuka to bed, Arima and Tsunade walked together into the snowy courtyard.
Tsunade nestled in his arms, a deep calm and warmth filling her heart. "Arima, you've finally fulfilled the dream you and Grandpa had for so long."
Arima smiled. "You were part of this too, Tsuna. Thank you… for staying by my side, for supporting me all this time."
Moved by his love for her, he kissed her softly on the lips.
The night was quiet. A pale moon hung gently in the trees above.
Afterward, Arima held Tsunade in his arms as she drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep. But he himself felt no trace of drowsiness.
With nothing else to do, he sank into his consciousness and checked the system. Watching the steadily increasing virtue points brought a strong sense of accomplishment.
As he scrolled through the exchange list, a peculiar item suddenly appeared, something that looked like a ticket stub.
Curious, Arima opened the description: "Round-Trip Time-Space Travel Ticket. Duration varies depending on destination."
His curiosity piqued, Arima tapped to view the list of destinations.
Unlike normal ocean voyages between specific cities or islands, this ticket listed destinations in entirely different worlds.
Ever since his battle with Isshiki, Arima had become deeply aware of just how vast, deep, and mysterious the universe was.
The shinobi world was just one corner of reality. Beyond it lay the enigmatic Otsutsuki clan's realm, and perhaps even more powerful races scattered across the cosmos.
That realization had planted a powerful sense of urgency within him.
He wanted to become the ultimate protector of the shinobi world, to safeguard his loved ones, and to protect the unborn Arata and Yuna, and the world that raised him.
This ticket, offering travel between worlds, further validated his suspicions.
The price of each ticket was based on the spatial and temporal distance between that world and the shinobi world.
He browsed the list, sorting the worlds by slowest time flow.
The names of these worlds were strange and varied. The ticket prices ranged dramatically, some cost just tens of thousands of virtue points, while others soared into the tens of millions.
The most expensive destination: Dragon Ball.
Second: One Punch Man.
Third: Bleach.
There were also more affordable tickets to worlds where time flowed slowly, like One Piece and Demon Slayer.
And to his surprise, some worlds had extremely fast time flow but cheap ticket prices, such as Detective Conan, Food Wars, and Slam Dunk.
Frowning, Arima muttered to himself, "These prices are ridiculous… and the worlds? What the hell is 'Dragon Ball'? Are there really dragons out there in space?
And 'Superman', what race is that? As for 'Death Gods'… well, I know a bit about those, but I wonder if their Shinigami are the same as ours…"
Then he looked again at the slow-time-flow, moderately priced worlds, and his eyes lit up. "Once I've got some spare virtue points, I might just bring Tsuna along and check one out."
The fast-time worlds with low prices were immediately ruled out. They lacked powerful beings worth investigating, and Arima had no points to waste.
Bored, he flipped through other items in the exchange store, but nothing caught his interest for now.
Glancing out the window, he noticed the sky beginning to brighten. Moving quietly, he slipped out into the courtyard to do some light training.
Tsunade, still deeply asleep, didn't stir as he left. She turned lazily in bed, hugging the warmth of the blankets.
Nearly an hour later, around 7 a.m., Arima heard his mother open her door. He wondered to himself, "Huh? Why is Mother up so late today?"
Indeed, for Naomi, today felt a little different.
After washing up, she entered the kitchen and began preparing a meal rich in iron and nutrients.
Arima wandered in, glanced at the food, and asked curiously, "Mom, breakfast seems a bit extravagant today. Don't you usually prefer something light in the morning?"
Naomi gave him a helpless look. "You brat…don't you know how to care for someone? Poor Tsunade suffered last night, and here you are, making jokes!"
Arima gave a sheepish laugh, a little embarrassed. Ugh, rare for me to lose face in front of Mom.
But remembering Tsunade's passion last night, he felt a wave of warmth and immediately offered to help.
Understanding his intentions, Naomi made room and let him take the lead, assisting on the side.
As he worked, Arima mused to himself, Maybe once the shinobi world crisis is fully resolved and I've got time, I could travel to the 'Food Wars' world to improve my cooking skills.
An hour and a half later, Tsunade finally stirred. Stretching and yawning, she lazily rolled out of bed.
Opening the door, she was instantly greeted by a delicious aroma. Following it to the kitchen, she was surprised to find Arima focused intently on cooking, with Naomi assisting him.
Noticing her arrival, Arima turned and gave her a warm smile. "Morning, sleepyhead. Go wash up. Breakfast'll be ready soon. And wake up Natsuka too, holiday or not, training never stops."
Still groggy, Tsunade nodded. "Mhm."
She glanced at Naomi and asked, "Auntie, why is Arima cooking today?"
Naomi dried her hands with a towel, pulled Tsunade outside the kitchen, and gently patted her hand. Smiling, she said, "Calling me Auntie now? Isn't it time you changed that?"
Tsunade's face instantly turned bright red, but she quickly regained her composure. Taking Naomi's arm, she smiled sweetly, "Mother!"
Naomi responded with satisfaction, her heart full of joy.
Looking at the naturally beautiful Tsunade, she remarked, "You and Arima's children will be gorgeous, no doubt!"
Tsunade beamed. "Of course! I've already seen them, after all!"
Naomi blinked. "Seen them?"
Tsunade then recounted the full story of their experience in the Land of Roran, including their journey through time.
Naomi was amazed. "I can't believe time travel is really possible!"
Then, laughing, she teased, "So that means my grandkids won't be born for years yet, huh?"
Blushing deeply at the memory of last night, Tsunade could hardly handle the teasing.
Naomi smiled again, "Let's go wake up Natsuka. She sure slept well last night!"
Tsunade flushed again, suddenly realizing how far her voice must have carried last night. It's all Arima's fault. I'll make him pay!
Meanwhile, Arima was still earnestly preparing nourishing dishes for his beloved, blissfully unaware of the storm brewing.
His mother Naomi, rejuvenated by caring for little Natsuka, had become livelier and more playful, and teasing Tsunade was now one of her favorite pastimes.
Half an hour later, the family of four sat around the table. The dishes laid out were all specially made by Arima for Tsunade's recovery.
Natsuka's mouth watered. As soon as the adults lifted their chopsticks, she exclaimed, "Itadakimasu!" and dug in with gusto.
Tsunade had originally wanted to stay mad at Arima, but seeing how much effort he put in that morning to cook for her, her heart softened. Whatever lingering frustration she had melted away.
Watching his happy family gathered at the table, Arima thought to himself:
"If only every day could be as peaceful as this…"
