Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 "¡Die!"

"She's much stronger," Ghislaine told me.

She stood in front of me and blocked my view of the woman.

"Even though there are more of us, we can't trust them. They know how to fight better than we do," she said, looking at me from behind her.

"So what do we do?" I asked, exchanging glances between Ghislaine and the woman.

"We have to hurry and finish this quickly," she said, getting into position before rushing towards the woman.

I saw her make a cut to her neck. At the same time that Ghislaine distracted the woman, the Magician and the other boy surrounded her and attacked her from behind, throwing a bolt of earth at her head and cutting her legs.

"I want to help!" Those thoughts flashed through my mind, but there was nothing I could do to help them. Right now, I feel like throwing up and I'm very sleepy.

I saw the woman jump, spinning in the air and kicking the bolt, as well as escaping both attacks, from Ghislaine and the other boy.

"What!? Did she just spin in the air!?" I thought in amazement as I watched the woman's movement.

I lunged to block the sword that was heading straight for Ghislaine's face. But the sword was too heavy!

Just blocking it pushed me back a few meters, with Ghislaine behind me falling to the ground with a thud. The woman was in front of us in an instant, lowering her sword toward our faces. Luckily, she was hit by a fireball that struck her good arm.

I looked at the wizard, who was already preparing another spell, so I got up and ran toward him to cover him from any surprise attack while Ghislaine and the other guy got to their feet and attacked the woman at the same time.

The fight between the three of them was as incredible as it was annoying. The flashes and squeaks caused by the swords striking each other made me nauseous.

The wizard cast several spells at the woman, which helped distract her and allow the others to land some blows. At that moment, I saw the woman's sword bend, causing the swords aimed at her to collide with each other, giving her time to cut the boys' bodies.

"Ghislaine!" I shouted in fear as I saw her body being pushed back while the other boy fell to the ground

"Cyril, watch out!" shouted the wizard, throwing a fireball at the woman.

With just one slash, the fireball disappeared into thin air. It reappeared between her and us and shot towards us at incredible speed, appearing in front of us in an instant.

I barely managed to cover myself with the dagger, although this didn't help much because with the sword blow, the weapon slipped from my hands and fell to the ground, leaving me defenseless.

The force of the blow pushed me to the ground, and when I looked up, I saw the woman's sword coming down directly toward my head, before being blocked by another attack from the wizard.

The blow seemed to have angered her, as she appeared in front of the wizard. She passed through his body and then kicked him, pulling out her sword, covered in blood.

"Did she kill him...?" I asked myself.

I couldn't help but look at the body on the ground and the woman swinging her sword to clean the blood off it.

No matter how hard I tried to get up, my body wouldn't respond, perhaps because of my fear. In addition to the new feeling I had.

"We worked hard, we've been preparing for this for a long time!" I don't know why, but at the same time that I felt fear, I began to get angry.

I could feel my blood boiling in my body, causing my body to tremble. The pain in my body was disappearing, concentrating in my teeth, which I was clenching tightly.

At that moment, a light hit my eye. It was the dagger on the ground, a few feet away from me.

I got up as fast as I could. I had to take a few long steps and throw myself toward it, crashing my face into the ground.

I barely made it when I couldn't move my hand. I looked down, only to see that a sword had pierced my hand, staining the grass with my blood.

The pain that had previously disappeared returned, throbbing in my hand. A cry of pain escaped me, followed by tears of pure frustration.

"Don't cry, you did your best. Be proud," said the woman, with a smile on her face.

The sword in my hand began to move, causing me even more pain. Adding to its weight, I could see her leaning on the sword, looking down at me from above.

"I can't help myself. Seeing my children use the movement and attack techniques we taught them makes my heart race." Her face began to blush, widening her smile even more.

The pain is too much, no matter how hard I try to move, I can't do anything. Where are the others?

As if answering me, I saw Ghislaine approaching silently, charging her sword toward the woman's body.

Ghislaine, you're still alive! Help me! The pain in my body grew stronger with every passing second.

When Ghislaine was close, she slashed at the woman's body. But the woman moved, turning to slash her chest. Causing blood to stain my face.

"Blargh!"

I couldn't help but vomit. My head throbbed with pain as I clutched my stomach.

"That was close. Who would have thought she could still move?" said the head, scratching his head.

"I can do it too!" said the boy who had come with the wizard, blood dripping from his body.

He threw the sword he had been holding at me, landing on the ground near me before collapsing, I guess from exhaustion.

The woman looked at me before lunging at me. Only thanks to the sword did I cover myself, holding it tightly so it wouldn't slip away. I got up with what little strength I had, appearing below the woman."Die!" I shouted, feeling my body tense like a string.

With all my strength, I slashed at the woman's arm that held her sword. As soon as I saw her arm fall to the ground with the sword, I turned and slashed her stomach. I didn't stop and moved my body upward to make another cut.

"ARGH!"

My body hurts, I feel like I'm being broken.

I fell to the ground motionless, blood dripping from my mouth. When I tried to move to stand up, I couldn't feel my arms. My eyes were closing more and more...
