Gwen sat next to him and leaned on his shoulder as Kai wrapped his arm around her. "Technically, the banquet does have a purpose."
"Yeah, I know, but that purpose is directed at the other tower masters, not the other hundreds of nobles that are attending. They're coming because they want to listen to the gossip and because they were invited. It would be rude to decline an invitation if you don't have something very important to do."
"True." She admitted. "But try to have fun. This is also a party for us as well."
