The queen and princess were visibly sweating after feeling how strong Kai was. Both of them were strong, but after feeling Kai's mana, they felt weak and insignificant. Fear crept up their spines, and they didn't know what to do next.
The princess was nervous. She didn't know if Kai would be upset with her after saying that she wanted him, so she looked away, hoping he wouldn't take his anger out on her.
The queen wasn't any different. She only sat there, staring at Kai. There was no way she wa going to order him around after learning how powerful he was. She planned on sucking up to him and would make his stay in her city as comfortable as possible.
"Y-Yes, we can speak like civilized people." The Queen straightened herself, looking strong and unbothered even though she was scared out of her mind.
