"You see, Dasani, I agree with you. I think this little system the gods and demon kings have going on is utter bullshit. It's stupid. I just jeopardize the lives of everyone." Kai remembered his conversation with Gracia and how she couldn't refute the facts he was spitting.
He was positive that the gods would find some way to claim that their system is good because it works, but if that was truly the case, one of the continents wouldn't be overrun by demons, and Horith wouldn't have died.
Those two examples alone trump any excuse they could give, in Kai's opinion.
"Thank you for seeing things the way I do. I hated my mother's rules; this is why I rule over my people. They can see me, talk to me, interact with me, and I'm here in person to help them with whatever they need."
Fiji smiled at her mother. "You said you don't like talking about grandma like that. This is the most you've spoken about her in like, 300 years."
