"Even the apples are fucking made out of gold. What the actual hell?" Kai was in a room that Leo provided for him, one that would keep him out of trouble.
The place was nice. It made his houses back at home look like a fucking barn in comparison. But Kai wasn't impressed by how good this room was. Why? Well, it was because he was under house arrest.
While Leo prepared for him to be shown off like a trophy, Kai had to stay in his room like a kid who's on a time-out. He was a grown man...for Mortal standards at least. Every god and near-divine mortal in this place was centuries old at the bare minimum, not including the ones who were recently born, so Kai was still a child in the eyes of the people.
"This sucks." He ate the golden apple, not tasting any gold at all. He wondered if there was a god apple, like in the game he used to play as a kid, the one with blocks.
