Chapter 9
[Rosie POV]
Five years with my children felt like twenty years, I was worn out, but for their sake, I remained strong.
With the compelling deal I had with Larry, any moment, I'd go bankrupt. However, I refused Harry's offer to aid me with money.
He's done more than enough for me, and I didn't want to be a burden on his neck; the care he has provided for my kids was more than enough.
Regarding the kids, their acts, features, and behavior were like his, the man from the nightstand.
It was so hard to deny; their eyes, their hair, and everything reminded me of his.
The thought of it makes me sick, and each day, fear keeps engulfing me as though someday, I'd be far away from them.
I just didn't want them to associate him or his influence; such men were vile but would pretend to be the nation's charm.
It's a beautiful morning and I've got to head to the confectionery shop. It was another hectic day; fortunately, I had a salesman who reduced the stress for me.
