POV: CASSANDRA JAMES
I took the rope from him and tied it to my waist.
"What next?" I asked.
A smile curled up at the corner of Jason's lip.
His smile felt sinister to me somehow and I shivered a little.
"For starters, you walk to the stream up ahead." He replied.
"What the hell! I thought you said that stream earlier," I shouted.
"Well it seems have changed my mind." He smirked.
I sighed and didn't say anything knowing nothing could let him change his mind.
"Let's start." He said.
"Okay," I replied.
I took a step in a bid to run, forgetting there was a rope tied to my waist.
Immediately, I fell back on my butt and groaned loudly in pain. The weight of the log tied to the rope was too heavy.
"Haaa."
Jason who was by my side burst into a fit of laughter which made my cheeks go red in embarrassment.
After sometimes he controlled himself and stopped laughing.
