[Rosie's POV]
My eyes dropped to the parchment and my face drained of blood.
I didn't care to look at Hera but I know she's as shocked as I am.
Yet, Damien seemed unperturbed as a small smile played on his lips as he leaned back in his throne, his eyes glinting with amusement.
No words to say as it's her chance to speak while I watch in shock.
"I found this in her chambers, hidden away in a secret compartment. It's the missing parchment, I'm sure of it."
The delegates began to murmur among themselves. I can tell their faces have concern and doubt.
My eyes darted from one face to another, and my panic grew as I realized that I was losing control of the situation.
"I didn't do it," I repeated, my voice rising, "I swear I'm telling the truth!"
Damien raised a hand, and that silenced the room. His eyes never left mine, and he slowly closed them.
"I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this," he said, his voice smooth and calm.
However, Dayla's face twisted in anger.
