I thought I was flying, I'm sure of it. So why am I on the ground? I felt like my head was spinning. As I look around, I saw a figure through the dust and rubble. If I remember correctly, it grabbed me by the neck and threw me down. As the figure got closer, it didn't look like an abomination or a fleshling, but a human figure.
I said to the man, "I am on an important mission, do not get in my way". But there was no response as it got closer, I could see it.
It wasn't any of them, but a corpse of a monster, it was wearing armor that was impossible to find for a mere creature. The outer layer of the armor was white and black, a helmet that resembles a piranha, half dome looking eyes that resembles the blood moon underneath the eye were tears, or what I think it is, but the tears were triangular and black. The forearms had a black blade sticking out of it. I know its name because I come from the same ground as it, Bloodmoon. The weakest link of the royal fleshlings but it terrified me, no, it was more than terrifying, it felt like I was facing the grim reaper.
I was frozen in fear. How? How come such a weakling out of all of us be this horrific?
I repeated, "I am on an important mission, don't get in my way", but he replied in a way that was soothing but menacing, " I know". I was shocked. "So you know about Eclipse's revival? So, enough stalling, we must make haste and stop it before it happens."
What I heard was a sigh, "Then what? Everything is going wrong anyway. If Eclipse dies then any one of us can be the next Darkest King. Regardless, we're dead. That bastard won't stop until all of us are dead or become his lackeys."
Before I could ask who, let alone comprehend what it said, I see him charging towards me. In a short moment I activated my ability to see the future. I regret not stopping time or rewinding it but I panicked and showed him the future, but it felt like it was unfazed.
How? How can it be unfazed as it witnesses the end of our worlds. Six reverse crosses and one giant cross overlooking all the other crosses.
The corrupted deity being one with Eclipse. Is this the Darkest King it was talking about? A 50 meter giant monster with three hands on both sides. A crown-like thing on his decaying face. How can that thing be defeated?
A landscape that calling an apocalyptic wasteland is too good to call what I was looking. A black hole that replaced the sun but it felt hotter than usual. All life is gone except for abominations and behemoths roamed the planets. As I witnessed the bleak future again, everything starts to get blurry.
I wasn't expecting it, but my ability was shattered. No, it was cancelled, I had no idea how Bloodmoon had an ability like that.
As we went back to the rubble, I was falling. This time it felt like a shorter fall. As I landed, I was rolling for a little bit. Then I saw it, a body that resembles my own. I tried to regenerate my decaying body but nothing was regenerating, not even a nerve. "Come on, come on, come on!", I cried, but nothing regenerated. That's when I saw Bloodmoon holding my core, the one thing that keeps us royals alive.
"Please…don't kill me. I…I don't want to die yet…", I begged but what I got in return was him looking at me, a human. He looked tired, to say the least, but he didn't look sad, in fact he looked emotionless. His face was scarred and his right eye was closed. Only a little light burns softly in his left eye.
He walked towards me and squatted, he smiled gently and said in the soothing tone that can soothe a crying child, "I can't have you alive. You'll just be a pain if I let you live. Besides, if the Darkest king does use Eclipse's body, he might use your abilities if you die later"His words send a shiver down my beheaded spine.
It was like he knew what was going to happen before I did. How? How can a mortal know the future before I, the ruler of time? "And if he gets your ability, then I can't kill him." Who? Who exactly is he talking about? Eclipse never had the ability to consume other abilities. "Who are you talking about…?" I asked. "My nephew and the next…
As Murdock completely decayed, the man, Bailey Divid, sat next to what's left of Murdock's ashes, smoking a cigarette and sighed. "He couldn't let me finish. Well, that's one down", said Bailey as he look at how much he had left, "Oh? That's my last one? I should buy more then…no, I should save up for the kids. I think I still have more at his house. I could also pay him a visit." Bailey gets up and went to this "he".

"I'm back.", Bailey said with sorrow, the oracle couldn't make a single noise as a wave of shock flooded him. He walks closer to Bailey and hugs him and said with a hint of nostalgia, [Welcome back]
They walk in the house, the oracle asked, [So after seventeen years, you show up? I heard you died], Bailey replied, "you shouldn't believe stuff like that, old man. I'm just here to grab more cigarettes".
The oracle chuckled, [Old man? This body is still young and you're thirty nine. Also didn't you stop smoking? Why can't you keep a promise to your wife?]
Bailey froze, "It's a little hard when you need to cope. Also don't bring her up, it's still tough", the oracle shook his head, [They died sixteen years ago. Why do you cling to her? You need to be a better uncle for Aaron and Ashley. You're the only parental figure they have]
Bailey sat on the couch, "I know, but what do you want me to do when I'm trying to kill their dad? What do you want me to say, 'hey kids, imma go kill your dad cause he's worse than a piece of shit?"
[I don't know. Maybe not try to kill him? I know he's done horrible things but you're no better. You're a sadistic guy who only stopped killing because of your wife]
Bailey sighed and chuckled, "That was back then. Emma was a good change in my life. And she almost brought me a kid of my own. I think he would've been seventeen now. But they're dead so I gotta make sure the kids turn out alright".

Bailey gets up and walks towards the door, " I'm going now. Just throw away the cigarettes and I'll be in touch"
