The next day, the Council reconvened.
Qui-Gon Jinn stood before them, flanked by Obi-Wan.
"The Force guided me to the boy," Qui-Gon said. "Anakin Skywalker. I believe he is the Chosen One. I ask for permission to train him."
There was silence until Revan stepped forward.
"I met the boy as well. The Force sings in him, but he must be guided with balance and clarity. I trust Master Jinn to do this."
Yoda's gaze shifted between the two. "Hard to see the path the boy is on. But agree, the Council does. Take him as your Padawan, you may."
Qui-Gon bowed deeply, relief and purpose in his eyes.
Obi-Wan stepped forward. Mace Windu turned to him.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi, you have proven yourself. Your skill, your devotion, your bravery. The Council grants you the title of Jedi Knight."
Obi-Wan bowed, a quiet smile on his lips.
Then all eyes turned to Revan.
"For your mastery in battle, and your wisdom regarding the Sith threat," Mace said solemnly, "the Council names you Jedi Master. And grants you a seat among us."
Revan inclined his head respectfully. "I accept—with one condition. We prepare. We open our eyes. The Sith are not gone. They've only begun to move."
Yoda gave a knowing nod. "Wise, you are. Watchful, we must be."
The circle was whole once more.
Book One had ended.
There, it is the end of the first book, the next book will take place around the same time as the Star Wars movie episode two
The age of Revan… had begun.
