The joint army led by Gaara and Jiraiya finally clashed with Yakushi Kabuto's "Legion of Shadows," the army of Impure World Reincarnation.
Not only did the Second Tsuchikage, Second Mizukage, Third Raikage, and Fourth Kazekage appear like in the anime but even the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, had joined the battlefield.
After all, unlike the anime, Hiruzen's soul wasn't sealed in the Shinigami's belly.
As for why Kabuto didn't summon the First and Second Hokage as well…
Probably because he was afraid of sending too many Kages at once and losing control. Even Kabuto wasn't stupid enough to risk that.
Gaara activated his Third Eye, scanning the battlefield and quickly reported to Jiraiya:
"All the Reanimated are here. And… Third Hokage too."
Jiraiya's expression tightened.
"I didn't think I'd have to fight the old man again."
The two sides clashed in a fierce battle.
Even with Gaara and Jiraiya coordinating, the Allied Shinobi Forces struggled against five Kage-level opponents at once.

The Third Raikage appeared behind Temari in an instant, his Hell Stab: Three-Finger already thrusting forward!

A combined attack of overwhelming force slammed the Third Raikage into the air someone once considered practically invincible.
Two figures landed in front of Temari, left and right.
"Miss Temari, are you okay?" Hinata asked, half-turning her head.
Temari blinked in shock.
"You're… Hinata? And—"
"Hanabi! Did you forget my name already?" Hanabi huffed, puffing her cheeks.
Temari just stared.
"You two… you're this strong now? And Hinata, your eyes..."
The Third Raikage climbed up again, his wounds knitting themselves together with Edo Tensei's dust.
"Heh… You actually pierced my Lightning Release armor. Impressive…"
He grinned savagely.
"But it's not enough! Come on, Hyuga girls—hit me harder!"
Hinata and Hanabi exchanged a glance and shot forward like comets.
"Earth Style – Earth Dynamic Core!"
Kurotsuchi slammed her palm to the ground, saving Gaara from the Second Mizukage's sneak attack.
"Thanks, Tsuchikage!" Gaara exhaled in relief.
A second later, he realized the Mizukage's water bullet had been aimed at his throat.
Reinforcements from the First and Second Divisions poured in.
Jiraiya, locked in combat with Hiruzen, grinned.
"Finally! Reinforcements!"
"Jiraiya…" Hiruzen swung the golden staff of Enma.
"Don't relax. Seal me quickly."
"Even dead, you're still lecturing me, old man…" Jiraiya muttered.
He clapped his hands together...red marks spreading across his face.
Sage Mode.
With Hinata, Hanabi, and Kurotsuchi arriving, the tide of battle turned.
The Third Raikage was overwhelmed in a one-on-one by Hinata, with Hanabi supporting. Exploiting the scar on his chest, they delivered a fatal blow and sealed him.
Gaara exploited the Second Mizukage's technique flaws and sealed him, just like in the anime.
Hiruzen, even with unlimited ninjutsu, couldn't match Jiraiya in his prime. After a hard battle, he was finally sealed as well.
Hanabi wiped her forehead.
"That's all of them… right?"
She activated her Byakugan.
"Wait… where's the Second Tsuchikage?"
At the same time, deep in a damp cave, Kabuto smirked.
"Byakugan's evolved form is stronger than I expected… And Jiraiya with the Kazekage is troublesome too. I guess it's time to use my trump card early."
He raised a hand revealing a new soul-bound piece on his chessboard.
"Heh… Under this power, no eyes can compare."
Hinata suddenly turned toward a pile of desert rocks.
"There! Three kilometers out!"
The Allied Forces rushed toward the location—
But too late.
The Second Tsuchikage was already standing atop the rocks, pressing one hand to the ground and forming a half-seal with the other.
"Summoning: Edo Tensei!"
BOOM!
The ground trembled. A coffin rose… and unlike the others, it exploded open from the inside.
A figure stepped out tall, armored in dark blood-red plating, long hair whipping in the wind, and Sharingan spinning like twin storms.
Even the Second Tsuchikage froze in fear.
Hinata, her Tenseigan blazing, whispered,
"What… incredible chakra…"
Jiraiya's face went pale.
"…Uchiha Madara?"
The face was unmistakable. The same as the Valley of the End's statue.
Kabuto's grin stretched ear to ear until a violent crash shook the cave.
A green Susanoo arm burst through the rock wall.
Within its ribs stood Uchiha Shisui, eyes hidden beneath his bandages.
"…Yo."
Behind him, a familiar voice echoed with a mocking tone.
Another figure walked in slowly, waving cheerfully.
"Hey there, Kabuto~~"
