"System, draw the lottery for me!" Alex Ray said, curious about what prize he'd win this time.
[Congratulations to the host for winning the complete series of the TV series "Loki"!]
[Congratulations to the host for winning the prize: Thank you for your patronage!]
[Congratulations to the host for winning the Room of Requirement!]
[Congratulations to the host for drawing a Human Limiter Breakthrough Card.]
[Congratulations to the host for drawing the Sorting Hat!]
[Congratulations to the host for winning the Harry Potter World Magic Encyclopedia!]
[Congratulations to the host for drawing the initial magic wand.]
[Congratulations to the host for winning the Origin of the Harry Potter World!]
[Congratulations to the host for drawing the Grindelwald template.]
[Congratulations to the host for drawing the Dumbledore template.]
Alex stared at the massive pile of rewards, his expression darkening.
Did he accidentally blow a hole through the Harry Potter franchise?
He skimmed the item descriptions:
[Harry Potter World Magic Encyclopedia] – A comprehensive tome containing every magical discipline in the Harry Potter universe, from Divination, Dark Arts, and Potions to Magizoology, Herbology, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. The book embodies the totality of magical civilization.
[Sorting Hat] – The iconic magical artifact that can probe a person's innermost thoughts through Legilimency. Slightly eccentric and notorious for poor hygiene, but undeniably brilliant. It can even respond to a wearer's subconscious voice.
[Room of Requirement] – Also known as the "Room of Hidden Things" or the "Come and Go Room." This magical space appears only when a person has a genuine need, adapting itself to provide what's required.
[Original Wand] – Allegedly the very first wand ever created in the Harry Potter universe. It produces up to three new wands daily. With it, no wizard will ever have to worry about losing theirs again.
[Origin of the Harry Potter World] – The mythical source of all wizarding power. It's said that without this entity, there would be no wizards—only Muggles.
[Grindelwald Template] – Gellert Grindelwald, the infamous first Dark Lord, feared even by Voldemort. Applying this template grants the user all of Grindelwald's magical abilities.
[Dumbledore Template] – Albus Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard in recorded history and headmaster of Hogwarts. Applying this template grants all of his magical skills and insights.
Alex rubbed his temples.
Was the system seriously asking him to recreate Hogwarts in the Marvel Universe?
Was this some divine mission to revive the wizarding world?
Or had the wizards simply grown bored of the Harry Potter dimension and decided to conquer the Marvel Universe instead?
Not that Alex had anything against the Harry Potter world. But let's be real—Marvel's reality was chaotic enough already. With mutants, Wakanda, Atlantis, the Illuminati, and the whole Spider-Verse showing up, things were already off the rails.
Now the system was just adding fuel to the fire.
If it had its way, everyone in Hell's Kitchen would soon be carrying a wand and casting spells.
Muggles? Please. The chances of finding an actual Muggle in Hell's Kitchen were slim to none, especially with the Monument of Life blessing the place.
With that monument's enhancements, even a pig could turn into a magical powerhouse.
Hell's Kitchen Community College might as well open a new Magic Department at this rate. But to make it legitimate, he'd need help from Kamar-Taj.
Alex had a sneaking suspicion that the system had planned this all along—kicking things into motion just as Stephen Strange was about to become Sorcerer Supreme.
Was it trying to force a rivalry between Hogwarts magic and Kamar-Taj mysticism?
If someone asked Alex which was stronger, Hogwarts or Kamar-Taj, he'd pick Kamar-Taj without hesitation.
Kamar-Taj spells were borderline hacks. Just look at their portals and the Mirror Dimension. Hogwarts magic, while useful, just didn't compare in scale or utility.
That said, Hogwarts magic was more beginner-friendly and versatile. Spells like Avada Kedavra and Obliviate were seriously practical, depending on the mission.
In Alex's vision, Hogwarts would be like elementary to high school for budding magicians, and only the top talents would be allowed to study further at Kamar-Taj—the equivalent of postgraduate sorcery.
After all, Kamar-Taj had few members for good reason: their training was brutal, and their magic wasn't without risk.
The mystical arts of Kamar-Taj drew power from dimensional beings. Even the Ancient One borrowed energy from Dormammu.
That's very different from Hogwarts wizards, who produced magical energy internally.
But how the hell was Alex supposed to lure Kamar-Taj sorcerers into teaching classes?
He was broke, had no teachers, and zero time to be teaching anyone himself.
The only viable option was to strike a deal with Ancient One or Strange.
Let them master the Hogwarts magic system first, then hand over the reins to train others.
Manpower wouldn't be an issue forever. Alex glanced at the two glowing template cards in his hand and sighed.
Dumbledore and Grindelwald—two legendary mages. The moment he saw those templates, he thought of Professor X and Magneto.
They represented the ideological split between good and evil among mutants, locked in a tragic cycle of friendship and conflict.
The only difference? Magneto and Charles didn't fall in love with each other. That particular plotline from the Harry Potter universe felt suspiciously like a studio executive's idea of political correctness.
Personality-wise though, Dumbledore and Professor X were practically twins—both idealistic, both school heads, both powerful leaders. One just had flowing white hair and robes, while the other preferred baldness and wheelchairs.
Then there's Magneto and Grindelwald—both men of vision, but also zealots who believed in ruling through strength.
Would mutants even want to become magicians?
Probably something to discuss before using the templates on them.
But honestly? It was tempting. Just imagine Magneto manipulating a cloud of enchanted wands, unleashing a storm of spells. Or Professor X soaring through the sky on a broomstick—it would be comedy gold.
Still, Alex wasn't particularly thrilled with the lottery results.
Not because they were useless, but because they didn't really boost his direct combat power.
He wasn't about to whip out Avada Kedavra against Thanos. Even if it worked, it wouldn't be satisfying. What was he supposed to say? Avada Kedavra! and expect a dramatic snap?
Please.
Also, what was he supposed to do with the complete Loki TV series? Was he supposed to sit down and binge it for lore accuracy?
