[The complete series of the TV show "Loki": This contains all episodes from Seasons 1 and 2. What are you waiting for? Release it already!]
Alex Ray stared at the tape of the "Loki" TV series, genuinely baffled.
A Loki series within the Marvel Universe?
Was this some sort of plagiarism?
Should he show it to Loki?
Maybe let him see the tragic trajectory of his own future?
Or better yet, gather Thor, Odin, and the rest of the Asgardian royal family to sit down and binge-watch the whole thing?
Let them witness a version of Loki from another universe — powerful, glorious, and ultimately heroic — and then proceed to beat the current Loki into a better version of himself?
Or should they be planning to save the God of Stories variant? Not that it mattered. Even if they wanted to, they probably couldn't. Strength alone wouldn't be enough.
Could the system want Alex to play the role of the Time Variance Authority this time? To let Loki see the future he could have?
Was he supposed to become the God of Stories?
Obviously not. Across the infinite branches of the multiverse, there was only one true God of Stories. At best, Alex could make Loki reflect. But becoming the God of Stories? That was out of the question.
The only benefit Alex might reap was earning Loki's friendship and racking up some "friend points."
As for Loki's skillset? Alex didn't think much of it.
The key difference from the original show was that here, the person trying to explain everything to Loki wasn't a TVA agent. In the show, Loki only believed what he saw because of the TVA's mind-bending tech and his own hopelessness after being captured.
If Alex tried showing him the tape now, Loki would just assume it was a trick — another manipulative ploy.
Plus, the plotlines of this world and the show weren't entirely the same. This world had Alex, Kingpin, and other out-of-universe elements the show never touched. Loki wouldn't buy it for a second.
So the tape would only become useful at a very specific moment — when Loki had no hostility or suspicion toward Alex.
Until then, this Loki business could wait.
The only truly valuable reward Alex had from this round's lottery draw was likely the [Human Limitation Breakthrough Card].
**[Human Limitation Breakthrough Card]: No matter how hard a living being trains, it inevitably hits the ceiling of physical potential due to biological limitations.
This "limiter" exists so that species evolve without losing their survival instincts or rationality.
There was once a man who did 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and ran 10 kilometers every day. Through sheer repetition, he broke past the human limit.
He became stronger — but also bald.
Using this card removes those biological limiters, allowing infinite physical growth. But as power increases… hair gradually thins.**
The moment Alex read the description, his hand trembled, nearly dropping the card.
Sure, it could make him stronger — take him to a whole new level — but the side effect? Baldness?
This wasn't just normal baldness. This was conceptual baldness, the kind that even Saitama couldn't cure no matter what he tried!
If going bald was the price of god-tier strength, Alex figured he could live with it… maybe. After all, with enough "friend points," there were other ways to draw power-ups.
But being handsome was a lifelong commitment!
Just imagine walking into a room bald. Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, the rest of the gang — they'd never let him live it down.
"No way. No matter what happens, I'm not using this card." Alex shook his head vigorously, like he could physically shake off the temptation.
Still, he stared at the card wistfully. It was such a waste… But he'd already thought of the ideal candidate: Kingpin.
Wilson Fisk — or "Uncle Kingpin" as Alex sometimes called him — already had peak physical stats even before Alex started enhancing him with Monument boosts. If Kingpin used this card, he might actually reach One Punch Man levels.
Just picturing a bald Kingpin leveling buildings with a single punch was terrifying.
Alex sighed as he sorted through his new gains. "Whatever. I'm strong enough to take on Thanos as I am. For now, I should go discuss the Hogwarts plan with Magneto and the others."
Though his power hadn't increased significantly, Alex had learned a wide array of spells thanks to the Magic Encyclopedia.
He felt pretty calm about it all. After all, he'd been to this world before, during the Holland-era Spider-Man arc. Since he was still alive and kicking, odds were he'd be fine this time too.
"Alright. First, find Professor X. Then talk to the Ancient One about the magic academy. Maybe even bring Strange along. That's the plan." With that, Alex opened a portal.
For him, it was just another day. But for the entire future magical world, today would be remembered as monumental.
It would later be known as the "Birthday of Magic."
On this day, Kamar-Taj and the Magic Kitchen — revered as the two great sanctuaries of the magical world — held grand celebrations.
Naturally, Muggles weren't invited.
Earth & Space
Everyone returned to their original timelines and locations via the Quantum Realm.
They stood fully suited in their white quantum gear, inside a massive circular platform designed for time travel.
Moments later, the white suits faded away, and they returned to their original outfits.
Tony Stark wobbled slightly, the trip clearly taxing him.
"Did we get all the stones?"
"We actually pulled it off," said Colonel James Rhodes, grinning as he held a gleaming Infinity Stone in hand.
He didn't notice the grim expressions on Tony and Steve's faces… or the absence of someone on the team.
With a heavy thud, Clint Barton dropped to his knees. His face was etched with despair and grief.
The sudden act stunned everyone. Their eyes scanned the group, trying to understand what had happened.
Dr. Bruce Banner was the first to speak. "Clint… where's Natasha? What happened to her?"
Hawkeye's eyes welled up. Words failed him.
He looked at Steve, Bruce, and the others, his gaze full of helplessness and guilt.
How could he even begin to say it?
How could he tell them that Natasha Romanoff — their friend, their teammate — was gone?
Dead.
