Chapter 343 - Chapter 343 : Thanos: Fire at me! ! ! !

"What are you standing there for? Came to watch the show? Go ahead!" Strange's voice rang out across the battlefield like thunder, snapping the Avengers out of their daze. His shout jolted them back into action. Their expressions hardened with determination.

Now was not the time to stand frozen. Everyone wanted to know who was fighting Thanos — and who this second Strange in the sky was — but there was no time for questions.

Alien warships descended in swarms. The Avengers rushed to meet the enemy.

Spider-Man sprang to Tony's side, helping him push back Proxima Midnight. The others found their opponents in the chaos.

Only Doctor Strange remained still, frowning deeply as he studied the two strangers who clearly didn't belong on this battlefield.

"What the hell went wrong? Why are there people from parallel universes here? What happened?" Strange could feel it — the Strange floating above radiated a power unmistakably drawn from the Time Stone.

That confirmed it. These two weren't from this universe. But what shocked him most was their strength.

The man battling Thanos — that wasn't something any ordinary person could do. And this new Strange was casting spells and using magical constructs Strange had never seen before.

Worse still, that Strange was a clone.

Not even the real body.

He had used the Astral Projection technique before, and he knew its limits. But this was something far beyond the standard form. Somehow, this clone was stronger than him — the Sorcerer Supreme.

Was magic this advanced in another universe?

Strange turned his gaze toward the edge of the battlefield — toward the Mirror Dimension.

"Oh," the clone murmured, "looks like the me in this universe isn't as weak as I thought." He could sense that this universe's Strange had spotted his original location.

He wasn't wrong.

That other Strange had left behind a clone ages ago. His real body was inside the Mirror Dimension, staying close but hidden. Although confident in Alex Ray's abilities, he was ready to step in if necessary.

So he stayed nearby, monitoring the battle carefully.

"It looks like your chances of winning just dropped, Thanos," Alex Ray said calmly, watching the superheroes unleash their full might.

Ant-Man had grown massive, towering over the battlefield, each step crushing enemy ships.

Iron Man and Pepper soared in their upgraded armors, moving as one — a perfect combat duo.

Captain America and Thor stood side by side, both wielding hammers, slamming into the invading army.

"No, no, no — I'll use the big one, you take the little one." Thor grinned and handed Mjolnir to Steve while taking back Stormbreaker.

It looked like the tide of battle was finally turning in the Avengers' favor.

Of course, even if Alex hadn't said it out loud, Thanos had already noticed. He wasn't nearly as calm now.

The arrival of reinforcements hadn't been enough. He still couldn't defeat this group and claim the Infinity Gauntlet — not with the Sorcerer Supreme and that man standing in his way.

This universe's Doctor Strange was cautious, using complex defensive spells and protective barriers, clearly trying to survive more than dominate.

Thanos could still take him down — of that he was certain.

But Alex Ray?

A mortal — just a mortal — yet his presence radiated danger. Pure, primal danger.

That was something Thanos couldn't ignore.

Still, he was the Mad Titan. He refused to believe he would lose.

His priority was finding the Infinity Gauntlet. Even with just a few Stones, his power would far outstrip anyone here.

Alex, watching Thanos' attacks grow more aggressive, realized something.

He's getting desperate.

Meanwhile, the Avengers had begun their mission to return the remaining Infinity Stones to their original timelines.

Ant-Man and the Wasp searched the battlefield for the brown van — the one with the quantum tunnel.

Thanos moved carefully, avoiding close combat with Alex, then lunged suddenly, smashing Alex away with overwhelming force.

Alex tumbled through the air, crashing hard and kicking up a cloud of dust.

Thanos seized the moment. He grabbed Ebony Maw and growled, "Did you find the gauntlet?"

"Not yet," answered General, a touch of frustration in his voice.

Suddenly, Ebony Maw raised a hand and pointed gracefully.

"My lord... there."

Thanos followed the gesture and spotted Black Panther sprinting across the field, Infinity Gauntlet in hand. He was headed toward the van — toward the only way to return the Stones.

Thanos' eyes sharpened. This was the moment.

He hurled his massive double-bladed sword at Black Panther.

T'Challa didn't see it coming.

The blade struck him mid-sprint, slamming him into the dirt. The gauntlet flew from his grasp and landed a few feet away.

Thanos bolted forward — until something fell from the sky and landed before him in a flash of crimson energy.

Scarlet Witch stood tall, her hands glowing with red chaos magic, her eyes burning with fury.

"You took everything from me," Wanda said, voice trembling with rage.

"I don't even know who you are," Thanos replied, confused and dismissive. He didn't care what this world's version of Wanda had suffered.

"You will," she snarled, hurling massive boulders laced with chaos magic.

Thanos waved a hand — the boulders shattered.

But Wanda didn't stop. She charged forward, her hands unleashing a relentless stream of chaos bolts.

Thanos staggered under the barrage. His sword shook. The air around him bent and twisted from the intensity of the attack.

Wanda screamed — unleashing her full power.

Her chaos magic bound Thanos, wrapping around his limbs like burning chains. He strained, but couldn't break free.

He felt his strength ebbing away, little by little. Panic crept in.

"FIRE ON MY POSITION!" Thanos roared.

Corvus Glaive hesitated. "But sir — our troops are still down there!"

"FIRE!" Thanos screamed again, desperate.

At that moment, as the sky darkened with the oncoming barrage, Alex Ray rose from the rubble.

He stood tall — silver-white light radiating from his body, burning through the dust and debris.

He looked toward Wanda — still holding Thanos — and then toward the sky.

And with a deep breath, he stepped forward.
