Chapter 413 - Chapter 413: Visiting the God of Stories with the People of Asgard

Alex Ray used the portal and stepped into the palace of Asgard. As soon as he tossed Loki onto the floor, a child's startled scream echoed through the grand halls.

At that moment, Frigga, Queen of Asgard, glided swiftly through the corridor like a spring breeze. Her gown fluttered softly with each graceful step, radiating both maternal urgency and royal poise.

She practically rushed to Loki's side, knelt beside him, and gazed into his face with overwhelming affection, as if hoping her love could heal him on the spot.

"Loki, my poor child, what happened to you?" Her voice trembled as she cupped his face, her fingers brushing gently across his gaunt cheeks. The cunning and wisdom that once sparkled in his eyes had faded into a hollow weariness.

He was thinner than the last time she saw him. His once-rounded cheeks had sunk, and the sight tore at her heart.

With motherly care, she smoothed out his tangled hair, her touch as gentle as if she were handling a delicate treasure. Her eyes brimmed with worry.

Standing nearby, Alex Ray caught the eyes of Odin—the King of Gods.

But instead of the anger or surprise Alex expected, Odin's gaze reflected something more complex: guilt, relief, and even pride swirled together in a deep, unreadable mix.

Alex muttered under his breath, "This old man's a master voyeur."

He came to that conclusion based on how Odin was watching Loki—with familiarity, insight, and a knowing sorrow that didn't come from guesswork.

Alex figured Odin hadn't just been keeping tabs on Loki—he'd definitely watched the Loki series.

And this wasn't the first time Odin had secretly observed his children. He did the same thing back when Thor was on Earth.

In truth, Odin had finished the entire Loki series.

Thor had already relayed the tale once, but it was only after watching it himself that Odin truly understood.

Seeing both Old Loki and God of Stories Loki had made one thing clear to him: Loki had always loved Asgard—deeply.

And that realization hit Odin with guilt. His harsh parenting had burdened his children more than it helped them.

Still, he didn't see his methods as wrong. Thor had turned out well in the end. And Loki—he had grown beyond even Odin's expectations.

The Loki in the show had become the God of Stories, stronger and wiser than Odin himself.

So Odin wasn't worried about the current Loki's melancholy. He believed his son would pull himself back up.

With a single gesture, Odin released the seal suppressing Loki's divine powers.

But even as he did, his gaze shifted to Alex Ray, eyes narrowing.

After watching Loki, Odin had only one burning question: Who the hell is Alex Ray?

How could this mysterious young man possess such knowledge? Such items?

When Odin looked at Alex, the initial curiosity gave way to full-blown shock.

He almost doubted his own vision.

"A demigod…?"

He could no longer read Alex's power clearly—but the aura didn't lie.

Odin whispered to himself, disbelief written across his face.

After thousands of years of cultivating strength and wisdom, Odin had never reached that legendary realm himself. Yet here stood Alex, far younger, already approaching it.

His talent, his speed of progress—it defied logic.

Odin's chest tightened with awe. He cleared his throat to compose himself, then asked, voice restrained but heavy:

"Alex Ray… have you already broken through to that realm?"

"Not yet. But I'm close," Alex replied plainly.

Odin exhaled slowly, a complicated mix of relief and resignation filling his chest.

"So… the age of the young has come."

Though Alex hadn't reached the realm of demigods yet, he was well on his way.

Odin felt somewhat comforted. Thor and Loki would have a powerful ally in Alex.

"Then what brings you here?" Odin finally asked.

"I came to take you to meet someone," Alex replied.

"There's someone who really wants to see you." He glanced deliberately toward Frigga.

Frigga's brows lifted in curiosity. Her wise eyes turned to Odin, silently asking: What is going on? Why don't I know anything about this?

Odin simply nodded, his silence confirming that he understood—and approved.

At that moment, Loki stirred.

His lifeless eyes lit up instantly. Shock, unease, and anticipation swirled in his expression.

I'm going to meet another me?

I can't let him see me like this…

"Who are we going to meet?" a familiar voice rang out as Thor strode into the palace—his face bruised and battered.

He grinned at the sight of his brother and his old friend Alex.

"What the hell happened to your face?" Alex asked, raising a brow.

"Oh, just some scrapes from training," Thor replied nonchalantly. "So who are we meeting?"

"You'll see soon enough," Alex answered, not elaborating.

"We should get moving."

"Hold on," Odin interjected. "If we're going to meet someone, we should bring a proper gift."

He clapped his hands.

A dozen palace guards marched in immediately, arms full of lavish offerings.

Alex watched them with a deadpan stare.

"Really? You think he needs this junk? He's literally beyond material things. Just show up."

After all, Loki the God of Stories didn't need trinkets. Hell, Alex hadn't even told him Odin and the others were coming.

What was the point of dragging in half of Asgard's treasure vault?

Why not bring the whole kingdom while we're at it? Alex thought sarcastically.

Odin nodded slightly and asked Frigga to prepare some food instead. Then, with a calm breath, his body began to glow.

Golden light enveloped him, reshaping his form.

When it faded, he stood tall in full ceremonial armor. The golden helm on his head shimmered under the Asgardian sun.

This was his battle regalia—worn only on the most sacred occasions.

Every motion he made radiated divine power and kingly majesty. Even the air seemed to tremble.

He was going to meet a child of destiny—Loki of another world, now a god.

Not to be outdone, Loki, Thor, and the others donned their finest ceremonial garb. Each outfit carried centuries of legacy and pride.

And when they were finally ready, Alex turned back to them.

"Let's go—to the End of Time. To meet the one who's been waiting for you."

He raised his hand and opened a new portal.

In a flash, the entire group stepped through.

They emerged into a vast, ethereal space that stretched into the cosmic beyond.

Floating amidst the stars stood a colossal multiverse tree, its branches spanning across infinite timelines and countless universes.

The stars twinkled like jewels around it, illuminating their path.
