Chapter 452 - Chapter 452: The War Begins, Hell's Kitchen VS Reincarnators

Because of the existence of Alex Ray and his powerful Hell's Kitchen team, Captain Universe Spider-Man felt an unprecedented sense of relief when facing this group of newly emerged reincarnators.

This mission was unlike any he had undertaken before. In the past, he was always fighting alone or with a small team, traversing countless multiverses and throwing himself into battles to save ordinary people on the brink of annihilation.

But now, the mutants of Hell's Kitchen—these warriors blessed with extraordinary abilities—were more than capable of handling the reincarnators. Their presence allowed him, for the first time in ages, to step back from the grueling pressure of constant rescue.

Captain Universe Spider-Man stood off to the side, his expression distant and somber. He didn't join the fight directly; instead, he watched silently as a bystander.

He observed how the Hell's Kitchen mutants used their diverse, formidable powers to subdue the reincarnators one by one. Complex emotions churned in his heart.

He remembered the brutal battles he'd fought, the comrades who had fallen due to a lack of strength or support. He sighed internally: If they'd had this kind of power back then, perhaps the cost wouldn't have been so devastating.

But he couldn't linger on sentimentality for long.

Captain Universe Spider-Man knew full well that his true purpose now wasn't rescue—it was revenge.

He'd been hounded by reincarnators countless times across multiversal space. In some realities, he'd watched billions die—whole civilizations wiped out, friends turned to dust. These scars had never faded. And now, as he faced them again, the fury inside him surged to the surface like a tidal wave.

Alex Ray didn't lift a finger against these low-level reincarnators. But Captain Universe Spider-Man bore no such restraint.

With a sharp breath, he launched himself into the fray.

His attacks were swift and surgical. Every blow carried the force of a collapsing star. The reincarnators were overwhelmed instantly—too slow, too fragile. They had no idea what kind of force they were dealing with.

Under his relentless assault, the reincarnators were felled like leaves in a storm, scattered and broken. The battlefield became saturated with despair and fear.

In mere minutes, a dozen of them had fallen—torn apart by the raw cosmic energy infused in Spider-Man's strikes. Their remains were beyond repair. They would not rise again.

But this slaughter was abruptly interrupted.

A deafening sound ripped through the dimensional space—louder than thunder, sharper than steel. It echoed across the stars and trembled through every atom, as if the very fabric of the universe had been shattered like glass.

Even dust in the vacuum seemed to vibrate with the frequency of that shattering.

Everyone stopped. Even Captain Universe Spider-Man turned his gaze skyward, suddenly alert.

The sky above them twisted and broke like torn parchment. Space itself—once calm—began to warp and distort, unable to contain the force pushing through.

And from this cosmic rupture emerged figures—strangers to this world, cloaked in power that did not belong to this dimension.

They floated effortlessly in the air, casting an ominous, unnatural glow. Their arrival tainted the sky with danger and mystery.

They weren't one unified force. Two distinct factions had appeared, facing off in open hostility.

One side consisted of dozens—diverse in appearance. Some wore armor, others cloaks, a few were shirtless, exposing dense muscle and battle scars. Their eyes burned with rage and defiance.

They were high-level reincarnators, recently freed from an elaborate illusion.

After what must have been hours of clawing their way through mirror space and layered mental traps, they had finally broken free—and they were livid.

Opposing them stood the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj. Robed in ancient designs, their staves shimmered with arcane runes and embedded jewels that pulsed with raw magical energy.

Their expressions were calm, eyes sharp with wisdom and resolve. Leading them was none other than Doctor Stephen Strange, current Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj. Beside him stood Kang—a master of illusion and distortion.

But save for Strange, the Kamar-Taj mages looked exhausted. Pale-faced and weary, they were clearly drained from maintaining the elaborate mirror dimension that had held the reincarnators captive.

The tension was explosive.

Captain Universe Spider-Man felt the weight in the air shift. It was his cue.

With a streak of red cosmic fire, he vanished from the ground and appeared midair—intercepting the space between both sides like a meteor forged of vengeance and starlight.

The freed reincarnators were furious, especially at the Kamar-Taj mages. Their eyes gleamed with unfiltered hate.

One among them—Bardock, simple-minded but explosively powerful—let out a furious roar and charged toward Strange, fists blazing with raw energy.

"You're nothing but a trickster! Fight me like a real man!" he bellowed, his punch cutting the air like a missile.

But before Bardock could land the blow, a blur of crimson flashed between him and his target.

Captain Universe Spider-Man.

He raised his arms and caught Bardock's punch mid-air, the sheer force rippling across the sky in concentric waves.

"Your opponent is me," he said coldly, his voice like iron. "We didn't settle things last time. This time—I'm finishing it."

Their fists clashed again. The resulting shockwave sucked the air from the vicinity, forming a brief vacuum that forced nearby fighters to retreat several steps.

As the two titans engaged in furious hand-to-hand combat, other reincarnators didn't wait around.

In a blur, they scattered in every direction, streaking through the air like missiles—each one diving into Hell's Kitchen to execute their deadly plan.

They moved fast, painting arcs of energy through the sky.

But Hell's Kitchen had its own defenders.

From all corners, dozens of figures shot upward—mutants, mystics, mercenaries—all loyal to Alex Ray. Each one found their target in midair, clashing against the invaders with unyielding resolve.

The air was alive with fire, magic, metal, and fury. Roars, chants, and battle cries melded into a symphony of chaos.

Above it all, Alex Ray hovered silently, watching the spectacle unfold.

A playful smirk tugged at his lips.

"I've carefully chosen opponents for each of you…" he murmured to himself. "This banquet will be unforgettable. Truly… thrilling."

His eyes gleamed—filled with calm confidence, and the kind of foresight only a man like him could wield.
