Episode 22: Moonlight Unleashed

The impact of their clash sent a blinding shockwave through the clearing—trees groaned, the earth split, and the sky trembled as if holding its breath. Juvia fell to one knee, her body aching from the sheer force. Ha-jun staggered beside her, blood trailing from a cut on his cheek.

The leader of the Eclipse Order rose slowly, shadows swirling like a crown around him. "You're strong," he hissed. "But I command the eclipse—the end of light itself."

He thrust his staff into the ground, and a massive column of darkness erupted, spiraling toward the sky. The moon, once brilliant, flickered—dimmed—and began to vanish.

"No!" Juvia cried, gripping her sword as tears welled in her eyes. "You won't take the moon from us!"

Suddenly, the Heart of the Moon pulsed—once… twice… and then exploded with light.

A beam of silver fire shot toward Juvia, engulfing her in radiant energy. Her body lifted from the ground, glowing brighter than ever before. Her sword transformed—no longer steel, but moonstone, etched with ancient runes that shimmered.

Luna gasped. "The Moon has chosen her."

The wind howled as Juvia opened her glowing eyes, a voice—not hers—whispering through her lips:

> "I am the light in the darkness… I am the moon's fury…"

The shadows around the Order's leader trembled.

Juvia struck.

With a speed she had never known, she charged forward, slicing through the darkness. Her blade left trails of pure light in the air, burning every shadow it touched. The Eclipse leader roared, casting spell after spell—but Juvia deflected each one, her body flowing like the wind and striking like lightning.

She leapt into the air, spinning once, and came down with a scream of power—her sword crashing against his staff. It shattered like glass.

"No—NO!" he bellowed, stumbling back.

Juvia landed hard, blade pointed at his chest, her voice steady. "This ends now."

She drove her sword into the earth.

The light erupted, swallowing the clearing in silver fire. Screams of the retreating Order echoed into the night as they scattered like ash in the wind.

When the light faded, silence remained. The moon shone clear and full again above them.

Juvia collapsed to her knees. Ha-jun rushed forward, catching her in his arms.

"You did it," he whispered.

"No," she said softly, her voice barely audible. "We did it."

From the shadows, Luna watched with a proud smile. "The Moon's Chosen… has awakened."
