Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Nanami Kento and Haibara Yu

Blinding light erupted from Sawa Gojo, radiating outward.

Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto nearly went blind from the glare.

As the light expanded, their domains visibly dissolved before their eyes.

Satoru and Suguru gaped, incredulous.

Domain clashes like this had two explanations.

One: the domains existed on different planes, with one's strength and grade crushing the other—like Satoru versus Hanami.

Two: one domain's effect perfectly countered the other, like snow meeting hot water, obliterating it despite similar strength.

Sawa was the strongest of the trio, but Satoru and Suguru weren't that far behind.

So, likely the second case.

But how? Satoru's and Suguru's domains had wildly different effects.

What was Sawa's domain that it countered both?

The light faded.

As Satoru and Suguru blinked, a breathtaking scene left them dazed.

Above, a vibrant blue sky with dazzling clouds, no sun yet bright as day.

Below, an endless mirror reflecting the sky's pure, holy beauty.

A mirror of the heavens!

Compared to Satoru's eerie void and Suguru's cursed spirit horde, Sawa's domain was a visual masterpiece.

They marveled, then spotted Sawa grinning nearby.

Satoru tugged his hair, fuming. "Argh! Big bro, you mastered Domain Expansion too?!"

Suguru, more curious, probed Sawa's domain effect.

Sawa stroked his chin. "Try using your techniques."

Satoru and Suguru attempted to, then froze.

No cursed energy. Not a drop.

They were ordinary humans now, save for superhuman physique and combat skills.

"What's going on?" they stammered.

Sawa explained, "My Domain Expansion, Dustless Realm, strips all cursed energy from opponents inside!"

Sure, Sawa shared Satoru's Limitless technique and could've mimicked Unlimited Void to save effort.

But he forged his own path—and surpassed his expectations.

"What?!"

Satoru and Suguru were floored.

Suguru mused, "No wonder your domain counters both of ours!"

Dustless Realm's forced cursed energy drain wasn't just a match for Unlimited Void or Myriad Manifestations—it suppressed any domain.

Cursed energy fueled all sorcery: innate techniques, Reverse Cursed Technique, Domain Expansion.

Without that "fuel," even the mightiest techniques were useless, like a chef without ingredients.

Suguru's eyes lit up. "Wait—Dustless Realm's useless against someone like Toji Fushiguro, right?"

With Heavenly Restriction, Toji had zero cursed energy, just an unparalleled physique—nothing to strip.

Sawa nodded. "Exactly. No technique's perfect, but how many Toji Fushiguros exist?"

Satoru's ears twitched, whispering to Suguru, "Hey, next time we bring Toji…"

Wham!

Sawa appeared behind Satoru, smacking his head.

"My foolish little bro! I said Dustless Realm strips opponents' cursed energy—not mine!"

Satoru crouched, clutching his head, whining pitifully.

...

At Tokyo Jujutsu High, a blonde, stoic teen faced Sawa's trio, introducing himself earnestly.

"Greetings, seniors. I'm Nanami Kento, a first-year. My innate technique, Ratio Technique, marks a 7:3 ratio on a target, forcibly creating a weak point."

After, Nanami eyed the trio.

The Six Eyes twins, Cursed Spirit Manipulation, the jujutsu world's strongest trio—three of the four Special Grade sorcerers.

Their legendary titles sparked Nanami's curiosity and admiration.

But that faded fast.

Satoru studied Nanami's hair. "Blonde, huh? You mixed?"

"…Yes, my grandfather was Danish."

Suguru stroked his chin. "Uh, are you… permanently deadpan?"

"…No, I just don't smile much."

Sawa glanced at Nanami's file. "You've exorcised cursed spirits before, already a Grade 3 sorcerer?"

Nanami's heart lifted—a serious sorcery topic from a seemingly reliable senior.

"Yes, Sawa-senpai. Three months ago, I soloed a Grade 2 spirit, plus several Grade 3s."

"Impressive!"

"You're too kind."

"Perfect. I've got some Grade 3 exorcism missions…"

Suguru blinked. "Sawa, those are your school-assigned tasks, right?"

Sawa said solemnly, "I'm training the newbie!"

"…You're just slacking, dumping work on a freshman. No senior cred!"

"Slander! You're slandering me! I'll sue!"

Nanami, deadpan, raised a hand. "Sawa-senpai, this counts as overtime, right? I hate overtime."

Sawa grinned. "No overtime pay, so it's not overtime!"

"…"

Five minutes later, Nanami left the meeting room, expression conflicted.

Haibara Yu, waiting outside, bounded over.

"Nanami! How was it? The legendary 'strongest trio' cool, right?"

Nanami's eye twitched. "Not what I expected."

Haibara's curiosity surged, eager to meet the Special Grade trio.

Inside, Haibara introduced himself with starry-eyed enthusiasm, gazing at Sawa's trio like a fanboy meeting idols.

"Seniors, I'm Haibara Yu! My innate technique, Amplification Barrage, doubles allies' technique strength within a three-meter radius around me…"

Later, Haibara exited, beaming like a sun.

Nanami eyed Haibara's undimmed cheer, thinking:

Are they normal with Haibara but mess with me?
