Chapter 21 - Selling Elixir Juice

Thinking of this, as if touched by the young man's actions, Shi Jiu's Dao heart inexplicably solidified much more.

The young man saw Shi Jiu stunned standing still without answering, so he asked Shi Jiu again what service he needed. Shi Jiu then reacted and calmly said to the young man:

"I have a few bottles of refined and purified Spirit Medicine liquid. I wonder if you accept them?"

The young man smiled, his smile unchanged by the fact that Shi Jiu was not there to buy anything. He still smilingly invited Shi Jiu to take out the medicinal liquid he wanted to sell, as he needed to first inspect its quality.

Shi Jiu didn't hesitate. Together with the young man, he entered a quiet area behind a screen, then took out one bottle each of several different types of medicinal liquids with various effects and arranged them neatly on the table.

Seeing these bottles, the young man cupped his hands and first picked up the bottle of Spirit Medicine liquid that aided in healing.

He used a needle-shaped thin tube to dab a few drops, then sniffed it under his nose, and then lightly tasted it with the tip of his tongue, letting out a soft 'hmm' sound.

Immediately after, the young man inspected the Spirit Medicine liquid in the other four bottles one by one according to this procedure. By the time he finished tasting the Spirit Medicine liquid in the last small bottle, the young man's expression had become quite serious.

Shi Jiu watched the young man's series of actions without speaking, but a faint smile had already appeared in his eyes beneath the black hood.

It seemed that not only Helian Jian of the Helian Family recognized the Spirit Medicine liquid he refined, but even this young man selling Spiritual Plants and Spiritual Flowers in the workshop had acknowledged his masterpiece.

However, Shi Jiu also sighed, these shop assistants were indeed not ordinary people. They probably had to be knowledgeable about Spiritual Plants, Spiritual Flowers, and Medicinal Pills, otherwise, business would be difficult to conduct.

Before Shi Jiu could speak, the young man spoke to him:

"To be honest, Your Excellency, these five bottles of Spirit Medicine liquid you brought are extremely thoroughly refined and purified, even better than the purification effects of most Alchemists I have seen.

Our Xin Shan Workshop is willing to acquire them all. We don't know how many more you have; we'll take as many as you have, at a price of 4 Low-Grade Spirit Stones per bottle."

Upon hearing this, Shi Jiu's mouth couldn't help but twitch under the black mask. Although he didn't say anything, he had already begun to inwardly criticize the Helian Family's black heart.

The Helian Family acquired the various Spiritual Plants and Spiritual Flowers produced in his field at a price of 1 Low-Grade Spirit Stone for every 2 plants.

As for this Spirit Medicine liquid, purified and refined by Shi Jiu, it was 1 Low-Grade Spirit Stone per bottle, and the bottle Helian Jian acquired was priced at 2 Low-Grade Spirit Stones.

But when he came to this workshop, they immediately offered 4 Low-Grade Spirit Stones, which was four times the price of the Helian Family.

How could this not make Shi Jiu grumble about the Helian Family being unscrupulous merchants? However, thinking that his seeds and medicinal field were provided by the Helian Family, it seemed somewhat reasonable.

But he also made up his mind that, apart from the necessary Spiritual Flowers and Spiritual Plants to be handed over to the Family, he would take the rest to the workshop and sell them off.

He estimated that it wouldn't be long before he could become a rather wealthy minor tycoon.

The young man saw Shi Jiu fall silent again, thinking that he was not satisfied with the price, so he quickly explained:

"Brother, to be frank, the price our shop offers is definitely the highest you can find among the nearby shops. Since you can provide these bottles of Spirit Medicine liquid, you must have other stock, and our shop also wishes to establish a connection with you."

"Moreover, we acquire these Spirit Medicine liquids not actually to resell them for a profit.

Rather, our own Alchemists recently indeed need a lot of highly purified Spirit Medicine liquid, and your bottles are quite suitable, so we are using them for ourselves."

Shi Jiu didn't actually intend to ask for a higher price. To be honest, he was already very satisfied with this price. So, he nodded, expressing his approval of the young man's words, and agreed to the transaction price proposed by Xin Shan Workshop.

Seeing Shi Jiu agree, the young man was quite pleased. He quickly reached into his Storage Pouch and pulled out 100 Low-Grade Spirit Stones.

Then he gestured for Shi Jiu to count them, and happily put Shi Jiu's 25 bottles of refined Spirit Medicine liquid into his Storage Pouch.

Shi Jiu watched the young man skillfully use the Storage Pouch, a hint of envy in his eyes.

Although his cultivation was higher, to be honest, he didn't actually have a storage artifact like a Storage Pouch. So he asked the young man:

"Brother, does your shop sell similar Storage Pouches? To be frank, I don't have a Storage Pouch, and carrying a bunch of things is a bit troublesome when walking."

The young man had actually noticed Shi Jiu taking out jade bottles from his backpack earlier, understanding that Shi Jiu was a Cultivator without a Storage Pouch.

And seeing Shi Jiu take out so many bottles of highly purified Spirit Medicine liquid at once, he guessed that the person completely covered in a black cloak was likely a Disciple from a large Family, engaged in Spiritual Plant cultivation or Alchemy.

Furthermore, this person seemed to have only recently been able to leave their Family, and thus didn't have much money to purchase a Storage Pouch.

However, he understood how to give Shi Jiu, a customer, Face, so he pretended to know nothing. When Shi Jiu brought it up, he smiled and said to Shi Jiu:

"Brother, please have a seat. Although our shop doesn't primarily sell storage Magic Treasures, we do have some basic storage Magic Treasures. Please have some tea, and I'll go get them for you now."

The young man's steps seemed a bit lighter, perhaps because he had just completed a satisfactory transaction.

In a short while, he brought four or five different-looking Storage Pouches in front of Shi Jiu.

These Storage Pouches varied slightly in price depending on the size of their internal storage space. The cheapest was 50 Spirit Stones, and the most expensive was 200 Spirit Stones.

Shi Jiu considered his own worth and chose the Storage Pouch priced at 50 Spirit Stones. Its space wasn't large, roughly about 1 cubic meter.

Shi Jiu clarified the specific usage of the Storage Pouch with the shop assistant, then, imitating the young man, stored the remaining 50 Spirit Stones on the table into the Storage Pouch.

Then, under the young man's rather surprised gaze, he took out the Spirit Stones hidden in his chest, sleeves, boots, and waist and put them into the Storage Pouch as well.

Finally, Shi Jiu took out the remaining 10 Spiritual Plants with stellar power from his backpack, wanting to see what the acquisition price would be.

Of course, he didn't take out the ordinary Spiritual Plants. After all, seeing how high the price of the Spirit Medicine liquid was, he decided to take the extra ordinary Spiritual Plants back to purify and refine them before selling them.

At this point, the young man's gaze towards Shi Jiu indeed changed. Although Shi Jiu didn't bring many items to sell, every single one could be considered a fine product.

For example, these 10 Spiritual Plants in front of him, though common varieties, unusually possessed stellar power.

Although he himself wasn't entirely clear what other special effects Spiritual Plants with stellar power had compared to ordinary Spiritual Plants.

But he figured they were rare, and the Alchemist Great Masters enshrined by Xin Shan Workshop would surely like them.

Gaining the favor of a few Great Masters would surely provide him with more connections when he next ran for manager of Xin Shan Workshop.

So the young man tentatively offered to acquire them from Shi Jiu at a price of 2 Spirit Stones per plant. Shi Jiu hadn't intended to make much profit from these Spiritual Plants, so he generously agreed.

After the exchange of his 20 Spirit Stones, Shi Jiu was in a very good mood.
