Kaya nudged him in the side then.
"Ngh," Caius groaned as the nudge had him lean hard to the side, causing him to tear his eyes away from the ample asset ahead of him and look at her instead.
"Sorry," He told her with a smile, "I got a bit… distracted."
Kaya rolled her eyes.
"Stare all you want," she said, "But don't you think you're in enough trouble as is without getting caught ogling the Professor."
"Nah, I'm sure she'd be flattered," Caius said.
"Caius, I love you but…" Kaya said.
"Oh, you do?" Caius said, raising his brow with a smirk on his lips.
Kaya went red.
"It's just a saying," she hurried to say.
"Oh, so you don't love me?" Caius said with a little pout.
"Not what I meant. I just- just…" Kaya sputtered, scrambling to compose something, anything, that made any iota of sense.
