Bound To The Alphas, Marked By Four

Layla looked up at Alpha Soren with a face filled with fear.


"Baby, please… you can't do this to me," she whispered.


"You can't say that to me. You can't leave me here…  Not with Alpha Kael. Please—don't leave me alone in this room with him."


She turned toward Alpha Kael like she had just seen death standing upright in human form.


"I'm scared of him," she cried. "Everyone is scared of him. You know that! He's the scariest alpha in the pack… he will kill me, Soren. If you leave me here, I'm going to die. I swear I'll die—please don't let me die!"


Then she ran to Soren, who was calmly getting dressed like none of her begging existed. He didn't even look at her. He was just buttoning his shirt, fixing his cuffs. 


Layla reached for him, her arms wrapping around his waist from behind.
