As the duo went down the slope, Michelle looked around with worry. "I hope that Poppy doll is alright..." she said in a low voice before they turned left.
After the duo went down the slope and turned right, Michelle poked her head out of the vent and looked around the room before spotting an input socket near a partially fenced area in the distance.
Michelle looked down and saw a pile of boxes before jumping out of the vent and landing on them.
After Michelle got on the ground, she looked forward and saw two electric poles, which made her hum a bit. "It looks like we've got another electric puzzle," she said as Huggy Wuggy got out of the vent and landed on the pile of boxes.
When Huggy Wuggy got on the ground, the duo heard something hit the ground, which startled them. Huggy Wuggy quickly stood in front of Michelle before looking around, growling. Michelle looked up and saw Poppy looking at the duo in shock.
Michelle was surprised and stepped to the side a bit, which made Huggy Wuggy glance at her. "It's you..." she said. "The Poppy Playtime doll from the case."
Poppy flinched a bit and looked at the duo. "Oh! Uh... sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to scare... both of you."
Huggy Wuggy stared at Poppy with weary eyes while Michelle stepped forward and looked at her. "What are you doing up there?" she asked.
Poppy looked at Michelle. "I was just... trying to get the power back on," she said before stepping to the side, which revealed a power socket. "Here..."
Michelle nodded. "Much appreciated," she said before aiming the left arm cannon at the power socket and pulling the trigger.
The blue hand shot forward and touched the power socket, which lit the cable. As Michelle approached the first electric pole, Poppy looked at her. "I don't think I've seen you around here before," she said. "Were you an employee?"
Michelle shook her head. "No, I'm not; my name is Michelle Mercia, but you can call me Misha," she said before circling the first electric pole. "And besides, I think it would've been kind of illegal to have an orphan kid work at a factory back then."
Poppy looked at Michelle, surprised, as she approached the second electric pole. "You're an orphan?" she asked.
Michelle nodded. "Yes, but I'm not from Playcare," she said before getting on the second electric pole's base.
Michelle circled the second pole. "However, the orphanage I grew up in had a joint connection system that allowed us to visit the factory once a week," she continued before approaching the fenced area.
Poppy looked at Michelle. "If that's the case, why are you here?" she asked.
Michelle stood before the input socket and looked down with a slight frown. "Well... since I'm months away from turning eighteen, I ran away," she said, which surprised Poppy. "Whenever we turn eighteen, we're... thrown out on the streets."
Michelle turned her head to Poppy. "I found this place by coincidence, but now I've got a new goal," she continued before aiming the right arm cannon at the input socket and pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and touched the input socket, which powered the area up. "If I may ask, what is this goal?" Poppy asked.
After the GrabPack's hands retracted, Michelle looked at Poppy, determined. "To find my friends; they used to live in Playcare, but they disappeared from my life," she said. "I'm going to find them even if it kills me."
Poppy stared at Michelle, amazed, before smiling a bit. "Throughout my years of being confined in this place, I've never seen a determined young lady like yourself," she said.
Michelle looked at Poppy, confused. "Throughout your years? How old are you exactly?" she asked.
Poppy smiled. "I may not look like it, but I'm thirty-two," she said.
Michelle was shocked. "Huh?!" she shouted.
Poppy giggled a bit behind her hand. "If you think that's surprising," she said before gesturing to Huggy Wuggy. "Your companion beside you is eighteen years old."
Michelle turned to Huggy Wuggy, shocked. "Seriously?!" she shouted.
Huggy Wuggy nodded, which baffled Michelle. "I figured you and the other toys were unique, but the fact that you can age as well baffles me," she said.
Poppy giggled, which made the duo look at her. "Anyway... I wanted to thank you for freeing me," she said before grabbing part of her dress and curtsying. "I was stuck in that case for so long it felt like a decade had passed. Thank you..."
Michelle flinched a bit and waved her hands. "Oh, uh... It was nothing," she said.
Poppy let go of her dress before turning to the vent behind her. "I'd like to pay you back," she said before entering it. "There's a train station nearby; it needs a code, and I have it."
The duo looked around the area. "It could help you get closer to your friends, and all of us could escape together," Poppy continued.
Michelle had a blank expression and looked down. "Escape..." she said in a low voice.
Soon after, Poppy stood at the top of a small vent next to a larger vent, which made the duo look at her. "As soon as you two get up on here," she said before giggling a bit.
As the duo approached the larger vent, Huggy Wuggy wrapped his arm around Michelle and picked her up before placing her inside it. Michelle turned her head to Huggy Wuggy. "Thanks, buddy," she said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded as Michelle climbed the ramp inside the vent, which made him grab the handle above the vent and pull himself inside.
When Huggy Wuggy was out of sight, Poppy looked at the larger vent. I never expected someone to tame somebody like Huggy; she could be very useful, she thought before entering her vent.
After the duo reached the end of the vent, they entered the office. Poppy appeared in the vent opening on the other side. "Hey, I'm up here..." she said, which made the duo look at her. "I see you..."
The duo approached Poppy as she giggled. "I should be able to follow you two through the vents... this way," she continued before reentering the vent.
After the duo stepped outside of the office, they turned their heads to the right and saw the blue and red hand scanners before approaching them.
When the duo was close to the door shutter, Michelle aimed both arm cannons at the hand scanners before pulling the triggers, launching both hands and touching them.
After the scanners finished and the door shutter opened, the duo entered and saw a large, deep gap in the middle of the hallway and a handle above it. "I don't think you'll be able to get me across this gap, buddy," Michelle said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded with a low growl. "But I think I have an idea," Michelle continued, which made him look at her.
Michelle aimed the left arm cannon at the handle and pulled the trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing it. Michelle turned her head to Huggy Wuggy. "Pick me up and back away as far as the GrabPack will let me," she said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded as he wrapped his arms around Michelle and picked her up before backing away. Michelle heard the GrabPack's cable strain a bit. "That's far enough," she said, which made Huggy Wuggy stop. "Now, sprint forward and jump."
Huggy Wuggy looked at Michelle with a scoff, which made her smile at him. "It'll work; trust me," she continued.
Huggy Wuggy stared at Michelle with hesitant eyes before nodding; he looked forward and let out a loud huff before sprinting forward.
Soon after, Huggy Wuggy jumped, which swung the duo forward. When Huggy Wuggy's feet were near the ground, Michelle pulled the trigger, letting the blue hand let go of the handle before he landed on it.
Michelle smiled and petted the right side of Huggy Wuggy's head. "Good job, buddy," he said, which made him purr a bit.
After Huggy Wuggy placed Michelle on the ground, she turned to him. "Poppy should be up ahead; let's regroup with her," she continued, which made him nod before the duo walked forward.
As the duo looked around, they heard humming in the distance. "Poppy must be close by..." Michelle said in a low voice.
Soon after, the duo spotted a door in the distance; when they were near it, Michelle placed her hand on the doorknob before twisting it.
After Michelle opened the door, the duo entered and saw Poppy humming while standing close to a giant hole. "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" she asked in a low voice, which made Huggy Wuggy shudder before they approached her.
Poppy spotted the duo and stopped humming before turning to them. "Listen, Michelle... I'm going to need you to trust me—" before she could finish her sentence, a large pink hand grabbed her and dragged her down the hole, which made her scream.
The duo was shocked and quickly approached the hole as Poppy's screams faded away. "Poppy!" Michelle shouted.
Huggy Wuggy wrapped his arm around Michelle and picked her up before jumping down the hole. Soon after, Huggy Wuggy landed on something before he started sliding down. "I don't know what that was, but we've got to save her!" Michelle shouted.
Soon after, the duo entered a room with different slide openings; after Huggy Wuggy stopped sliding, he placed Michelle on the ground before standing up.
When Michelle looked forward, she saw a large sign with a yellow train on it and words that said 'Game Station', which made her freeze up a bit. "The Game Station... if Poppy is there, then..." she said in a low voice.
Huggy Wuggy looked around with a growl. "We have to find her," Michelle continued.
Michelle turned her head to the left and saw an opening with the word 'Power' above it before looking at Huggy Wuggy. "You stay out here and protect; I'll turn the power back on," she said.
Huggy Wuggy nodded before Michelle sprinted toward the opening; when she entered, she spotted a power socket and an electric pole on the right catwalk, and an input socket and a different electric pole on the left catwalk.
Michelle stared at the electric poles with a hum and approached the power socket. "This seems too easy..." she said in a low voice before aiming the right arm cannon at it. "This'll be a test."
Michelle pulled the trigger, launching the red hand from the right arm cannon and touching the power socket, which lit the cable.
As Michelle wrapped the cable around the electric pole, a grated wall shot up, cutting the power before retracting the red hand back to the right arm cannon.
Michelle sighed annoyingly before stepping back. "Well, that's just great," she said. "How can I power this thing if that wall is gonna rise when wrapped around the poles?"
As Michelle examined the area, she noticed a blue pipe next to the power socket before thinking of something and getting on the left catwalk. "I think I've got an idea..." she continued.
When Michelle was near the power socket, she aimed the left arm cannon at it before pulling the trigger, launching the blue hand and touching it, which lit the cable.
Michelle turned her head to the electric pole behind her with a hum. "If the right wall has that wall covering the power socket, it's safe to assume that this catwalk has one as well..." she said in a low voice before stepping back. "All I have to do is not touch it..."
After Michelle got off the left catwalk, she approached the electric pole on the right catwalk, making the cable wrap around the blue pipe a bit.
Michelle wrapped the cable around the electric pole, which raised the wall over the power socket before she backed away. "Now to wrap this around the other electric pole," she said.
When Michelle was near the electric pole, she wrapped the cable around it, which raised a grated wall covering the input socket, before she stepped back. After Michelle got on the right catwalk, she aimed the right arm cannon at the input socket before pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and touched the input socket, which powered up the area, and the GrabPack's hands retracted back to Michelle. "That'll do it," she said before sprinting toward the opening.
Huggy Wuggy turned his head to the left as Michelle quickly approached him, while the electricity in the cable moved toward the Game Station's shutter. "I got the power back on; we should be able to get into the Game Station now," she continued.
When the electricity disappeared near the Game Station, the shutter created an opening. The duo looked forward and saw a long hallway, which made Michelle deadpan it. "Oh yeah, that definitely isn't ominous as hell..." she said sarcastically before looking at Huggy Wuggy. "Be on guard."
Huggy Wuggy nodded as the duo walked forward and looked around; Michelle looked up and spotted a red hand scanner above a door shutter. "I can get that door open," she said before aiming the right arm cannon and pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot toward the scanner's direction. "Once we get inside, we'll—" Michelle was interrupted when the pink hand from before grabbed it.
The duo's eyes widened as they heard a gasp from above. "A new playmate!" a female voice shouted.
The pink hand pulled up, taking the cable with her before it retracted back to Michelle without the red hand, which made her look at it horrified. Huggy Wuggy quickly stood in front of Michelle and looked around while growling.
When the duo looked up, they saw a larger version of Mommy Long Legs approaching them from the roof with a smile. "It's been so long since Mommy had company..." she said.
As Mommy Long Legs got on the ground, she looked at Huggy Wuggy, surprised. "What's this? Mommy never expected to see the loyal guard dog down here..." she continued before grinning and stretching her head toward him. "Did the little puppy get lost?"
Mommy Long Legs giggled as she turned her head upside down. "You're far away from your home..." she said.
Huggy Wuggy menacingly glared at Mommy Long Legs with a snarl. "Protect Misha..." he said.
Mommy Long Legs gasped with a smile. "The puppy speaks..." she said before giggling and pinching Huggy Wuggy's cheek, which made him angrily look at her, growling. "Good boy."
Huggy Wuggy tried biting Mommy Long Legs's finger, but she quickly pulled away. "But that name you said... Misha..." she continued, which made him flinch.
Mommy Long Legs turned her head upright before placing her finger under her chin. "Where has Mommy heard that name before?" she asked.
Michelle stepped to the side a bit and let go of the arm cannons' handles before raising her right hand a bit. "Uh... I can answer that question..." she said, which made Mommy Long Legs look at her. "Misha is my nickname; my full name is Michelle Mercia..."
Mommy Long Legs stared intently at Michelle before making a shocked gasp. "Yes, yes, Mommy remembers you," she said before stretching her head close to her. "You were the good kid from that other orphanage who came by every week to visit Mommy and the others."
Mommy Long Legs smiled warmly at Michelle as she gently poked her nose. "You've gotten so much bigger; Mommy is very happy," she continued.
Huggy Wuggy growled at Mommy Long Legs while she giggled and retracted her head. "Isn't this exciting, Poppy?" she asked as she pulled the other hand down.
Soon after, the duo saw Poppy wrapped in spiderwebs, which shocked them before Mommy Long Legs turned her head to her. "Very exciting, Mommy," she said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs turned her head to the duo. "Mommy heard that Miss Poppy was going to just give you the train code to escape," she said. "Now, how is that fun?"
Mommy Long Legs glanced at Michelle. "Instead... why don't we make a game out of it?" she asked. "The Game Station is still working; it'll be just like old times."
Michelle was concerned. "Mommy, I have an idea for the stakes," Mommy Long Legs said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs brought Poppy close to her, which horrified her. "What is it, Poppy?" she asked.
As Mommy Long Legs made whispering noises, Huggy Wuggy glared at her while Michelle held his leg, worried.
Soon after, Mommy Long Legs happily gasped. "That's a wonderful idea, Poppy," she said before holding Poppy out to the duo. "Tell them your idea as you did with Mommy."
Mommy Long Legs moved Poppy a bit. "If you beat all three games, Mommy will give you the train code and let you leave," she said in a mimic voice.
Mommy Long Legs smiled. "That's right! And if they lose?" she asked.
Mommy Long Legs held Poppy out to Michelle, which made her flinch. "If you lose... Misha must stay with Mommy... forever..." she said in a mimic voice.
Michelle's face went pale as Huggy Wuggy snarled at Mommy Long Legs while she smiled and brought Poppy close to her. "Mommy loves that idea, Poppy," she said before stretching her head toward her. "Ooh, you're going to have so much fun."
After Mommy Long Legs retracted her head, she climbed on the wall and looked at the duo. "Head to Musical Memory, and Mommy will get things started," she continued. "But remember..."
Mommy Long Legs's smile turned scary. "No cheating... or Mommy will punish you..." she said before giggling and climbing up the wall while laughing.
When Mommy Long Legs was out of sight, Michelle crossed her arms and looked down, horrified. "Stay with her... forever..." she said before trembling and collapsing on her knees.
Huggy Wuggy turned to Michelle and knelt before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. Michelle looked at Huggy Wuggy with tears pricking her eyes before wrapping her arms around him and covering her face in his fur. "I'm scared, Huggy... so, so scared..." she said in a low voice.
Huggy Wuggy stared at Michelle with sad eyes before petting her head. "Huggy protect Misha... no matter what..." he said in a low voice.
The shutter before the Game Station created an opening, which made the duo look at it. Michelle wiped her tears with her right arm before letting go of Huggy Wuggy and standing up, which made him look at her. "Let's... let's get that train code back," she said.
Huggy Wuggy stared at Michelle before nodding and pulling his arms away from her; after he stood up, they faced the opening before walking forward.
