The Human Calendar of Albinos

The humans of Albinos use a distinct timekeeping system that differs greatly from other races. Shaped by centuries of tradition and marked by their victory over the demons, their calendar is both practical and symbolic.

Year Structure

1 Year = 563 days

1 Month = 41 days

1 Year = 15 months

1 Week = 10 days

Leap years follow the same principle as Earth, with an extra day added every 4 years, known as the Leapshade Day.

Formula:

12 Major Months = 41 days each

3 Minor Months = 23 days each

Total = (12 × 41) + (3 × 23) = 492 + 69 = 561 days

Every 4 years, the Leapshade Day is added after the last month. Every 40 years, a Leapshade Month called Brightveil is added, lasting 23 days.

Era Naming

Instead of AD or Epoch, humans use the term AE (After Exodus).

The Great Exodus marks the end of the Demon Wars, when humans slew the Demon King and established dominance. This became Year 0 AE.

Anything before this event is marked as BE (Before Exodus).

Example Date

"7th of Amberfall, Astryn, 76 AE"

This means: the 7th day of the month Amberfall, on Astryn day of the week, 76 years after the Great Exodus.
