Miranda's POV
I didn't know how long I had been in the room, but it was suffocating and all I wanted was to just take a walk.
From the accident to falling sick, I hadn't had the time to walk around and my legs ached.
I thought about all that had happened in the last forty-eight hours and I sighed.
Alpha Colton had assured me that he had everything under control, but I didn't know if it was possible for everything to remain the same.
I thought about going out, but with everything that had happened, I wasn't sure it was the best choice.
I was back in that huge hall again, but this time, it looked as though the walls were painted with gold.
The same crowd stood on both sides of the hall and, for some weird reason, I couldn't see their faces, even though they weren't covered.
They were chanting in a strange language, their voices becoming higher by the minute.
