When Garp was teleported back to the One Piece world, Nawaki didn't immediately end the Holy Grail World instance.
Instead, he gazed at the crumbling fragments of Saber through the mind screen, his brow furrowed slightly.
"It costs a full 10,000 points to designate Saber as a Reincarnator…"
By all accounts, Saber was an excellent candidate.
Unfortunately, there was a problem—Servants who participate in the Holy Grail War couldn't be designated as Reincarnators.
These summoned spirits were merely projections of the true Heroic Spirits, whose souls resided in the Throne of Heroes beyond the world.
Saber was even more special. Her true self had, centuries ago in this very world, signed a contract with the "World" at the brink of death, hoping the Holy Grail could change her past.
Currently, the Lord God System didn't yet have the ability to travel freely through time. So designating her as a Reincarnator would require a massive expenditure of extra points.
Spending 10,000 points on a single candidate? That felt like a waste.
"Time, huh…"
Nawaki muttered, sighing. Then, using another Reincarnation Talisman, he tossed the Legendary Sannin trio into the world of Gundam.
In truth, he'd already considered the issue of time travel long ago—but it was simply too expensive to afford.
Under the Lord God's exchange categories, there was a special section labeled "Space-Time."
Within that section, there were two extremely tempting options:
[Time Travel Function]
[Cost: 300,000 Points]
[Effect: After purchase, the user can spend a small amount of points to travel to any moment in time, freely choosing when to enter a world.]
[Note: Altering history will create a new parallel world.]
[Parallel World Transfer]
[Cost: 600,000 Points]
[Effect: After purchase, the user can spend a small amount of points to travel to a parallel version of any known world.]
[Note: Destroying a world also erases all its parallel versions.]
If he unlocked both functions, Nawaki would essentially become the kind of omnipotent god from those novels he completed reading in the past.
He could harvest resources from infinite alternate timelines, manually modify mission worlds, and even create custom worlds.
For example, he could travel to the distant past, strengthen an entire world using special means, and then designate it as a parallel universe where Reincarnators could perform missions…
Or, if the resources in one timeline were fully exhausted, he could simply rewind time and generate a new parallel world to reset everything.
At that point...
With tens of thousands of Reincarnators working under him, continuously delivering points, Nawaki wouldn't even need to lift a finger. He'd be earning passively around the clock.
"Now that would be the dream…"
Back to reality—he hadn't even managed to unlock the most basic time travel ability yet.
After destroying the world of Attack on Titan, his points had peaked at 340,000. But a large chunk had been spent relocating the surviving Eldians, rapidly depleting his balance.
Now, after Garp's completed mission, he only had 150,000 points left.
"Come to think of it… I don't actually need to unlock those two functions just yet. There are still plenty of undeveloped worlds out there. Among the myriad universes, I've barely touched a handful. I haven't even conquered a single one yet."
Cooling his overexcited thoughts, Nawaki realized that—for now—those two space-time options were a bit overkill.
He wasn't lacking in world resources. What he truly lacked were outstanding Reincarnators to mine those resources.
The more Reincarnators he had, the faster his point income would grow.
So the priority was to expand the scale of the Reincarnation Space—with enough people, the points would follow, and then he could afford the luxury of time travel.
With that in mind…
In the Holy Grail World, he only selected a few Magi who had intense desires for the Grail and designated them as Reincarnators.
Namely, Kiritsugu Emiya, Kirei Kotomine, and a few others.
After all, it only cost 500 points per person. If they could generate value, then even if they died—it wasn't a loss.
"Probably wouldn't feel too bad about it."
Then Nawaki's gaze turned back to the Grail World.
"The source of fate in this world ranks much higher than that of the Titans' world. It even possesses a degraded form of space-time functionality and a basic set of rules allowing free selection of 'Heroic Spirits' to maintain order…"
It was practically a miniature Lord God System.
The idea made Nawaki chuckle.
Of course, it was only a stripped-down version—no match for his own genuine Lord God authority.
Even though he was still an immature and incomplete Lord God, he already had the ability to freely traverse any world—something no native of any dimension could match.
Even an undeveloped Lord God stood far above the so-called "gods" of small worlds.
Shaking off that thought, Nawaki returned to organizing the cycle of Reincarnator Missions.
Mission Results:
The Sannin: Mission complete, returned to Reincarnation Space #1
Minato & Kushina: Mission World – Black Bullet, mission complete
Might Duy & Team AB: Mission World – The King of Fighters, mission complete
Nagato's Team: Mission World – Fullmetal Alchemist, mission complete
This round of Reincarnation missions was concluded.
In total, it brought in 30,000 points. Notably, Minato and Kushina's power breakthrough alone earned Nawaki 10,000 points.
Normally, this would've been considered a hefty haul.
But when compared to the 300,000 gained from destroying the Titan world…
"Nope. Gotta resist. No more killing the goose that lays the golden eggs."
After all, destroying a world also wiped out all its parallel versions. For just 300,000 points, the cost-effectiveness was too low.
"Finally done…"
Nawaki sighed and rubbed his temples.
For the Reincarnators, they had only experienced one mission world.
But for him, he had spectated and monitored every single one of them.
"Completely insane…"
"Even though my brain capacity and memory are sufficient, this eats up so much of my time. When I eventually have hundreds or thousands of Reincarnators, I won't even get 0.1% of my own free time."
Frowning, Nawaki revised his plans. He needed an artificial intelligence.
Most Reincarnators could be overseen by the AI. He only needed to assign missions and monitor a few important individuals himself.
Otherwise, what was the point of being the Lord God if he didn't even have time for himself?
"As they say—more power, more laziness…"
Suddenly, he remembered something.
He had just thrown the Sannin into Reincarnation Space #1… and Madara was still in there.
To Madara, the others' missions would've passed in an instant. He was likely still wandering through the newly unlocked areas of Space #1.
And they still had unused Reincarnation Talismans…
A grin tugged at Nawaki's lips as he opened his mind screen and shifted his gaze to Reincarnation Space #1.
Sure enough—
In the gateway area of the dimension, within a golden pillar of light, the three Sannin were walking out.
