Blastoise moved in front of Ace. Ace recalled the motions from the game and carefully went through the movements.
When he completed the actions for the Water Z-Move, the Water-Z Crystal on his Z-Ring glowed brightly.
"Hydro Vortex!"
Light enveloped Blastoise. In an instant, Ace felt his stamina being fiercely drained.
But in the next moment, Blastoise's dual cannons fired off powerful jets of water. It didn't create a giant water vortex as it did in the game.
"Failed?"
Ace scratched his head, slightly puzzled.
To say it failed wasn't entirely accurate. After all, the power of Blastoise's water cannons had increased by more than double compared to a normal Water Gun attack.
Green stood behind Ace, staring wide-eyed as the two water pillars shot out nearly five or six hundred meters before weakly falling into the sea.
"Gulp."
Swallowing, Green murmured, "So strong. The power is simply invincible!"
"But it can only be used once."
Ace felt his body slightly drained and looked at the slightly panting Blastoise. He said to Green, "It can only be used as a trump card. Using it regularly is a bit unrealistic."
"That's enough too."
Green spoke earnestly. Then, she thought of something and looked at Ace, saying, "Right, I remember you can make Pokémon Mega Evolve. If you can make a Pokémon Mega Evolve and then use this move, the power will definitely increase again!"
Ace was speechless, his face showing a peculiar expression.
He didn't expect Green to think the same thing. Combining Mega Evolution and Z-Moves was absolutely feasible.
Ace had also thought about the Dynamax phenomenon from the Galar region, but the geographical requirements for that were too restrictive. Unless tested in the Galar region itself, there would be no conditions for experimentation.

Ace pointed to the volcano behind them and said to Green, "The closest place where we can currently obtain a Z-Crystal should be Wela Volcano Park..."

Before Ace could finish his sentence, Green suddenly pointed in the direction Ace was indicating, fear in her eyes.
Ace paused, swallowed the rest of his words, and turned around. He saw a strange, cracked, pitch-black hole suddenly appearing in the sky.
"Ultra Wormhole..."
Ace whispered, a sound only he could hear, his eyes filled with shock.
However, Ace didn't have much time to remain shocked. After only a dozen seconds, the Ultra Wormhole slowly dissipated.
"Ace, do you know something?"
Green looked at the shock still lingering on Ace's face and asked.
Ace shook his head at Green, choosing not to tell her about the Ultra Wormhole.
They had come to Alola to take a vacation, after all. Acquiring Z-Crystals and completing the title quests were just side activities. Since there was no current quest, Ace had no interest in provoking the Ultra Wormhole and adding trouble for himself.
"Side Quest (Ultra Wormhole): The hole that suddenly appeared in the sky is filled with mystery. Please enter the Ultra Wormhole and investigate its secrets. Quest Reward: 100,000 Gold Coins, plus Quest Points based on completion level."
"Side Quest (Z-Crystals): Collect Z-Crystals of all types. Quest Reward: 20,000 Gold Coins, plus Quest Points based on completion level."
"Side Quest (Ultra Beast): Capture a Pokémon from within the Ultra Wormhole. Quest Reward: 10,000 Gold Coins, plus Quest Points based on completion level."
"Side Quest (Cosmog): Only by possessing Cosmog can the Ultra Wormhole be opened. Capture a Cosmog and open the Ultra Wormhole. Quest Reward: 200,000 Gold Coins, plus Quest Points based on completion level."
Ace: "..."
Ace was speechless. He had just said he didn't want to get involved in this mess, and the System suddenly popped up all these quests, giving him the distinct feeling that it enjoyed seeing trouble.
"Also..."
Ace mentally rolled his eyes at the System and said, "Where am I supposed to find a Cosmog? The start of the main storyline is a long way off. Am I supposed to wait slowly?"
