Beta Axel's punch managed to hit Lucian across his face, causing the latter to stumble backwards with a stunned expression.
He raised his right hand, touching his jaw as if he couldn't believe what just happened.
Elian sure as hell couldn't believe it.
The Beta, his second mate, just punched the Alpha Prince, his first mate. What the actual fuck?!

Elian swallowed hard as Lucian's eyes flared with a cold light. The Alpha Prince straightened his posture, locking his gaze on Axel who had his back facing Elian.
"A–Axel, please... Stop this." Elian spoke in a pleading voice, stretching his right hand forward and grabbing his elbow. "Let's not escalate this more than it—"
