Elian's POV

[Well, that happened.]
Elian grunted to himself when the metal doors of the Ascension platform leading to his floor opened. He walked out of it and navigated his way down the hallway, brushing aside strands of his hair.
"What? The part where my two mates almost killed each other and then were called aside by the Alpha King for hell knows what?" He asked with a whisper, his face scrunching up.
He walked past a few maids and smiled awkwardly when they stared at him like he was going insane.
"Maybe he's making a call to someone." A maid muttered with uncertainty to her colleague when they walked past him.
[You do realise that no one... And I mean, NO ONE, is allowed to know about this system. Right?]
Elian held back the urge to roll his eyes when he finally got to his room door. But then his eyebrows furrowed when he spotted two guards standing on either side of the door.
