Author's POV
It was a beautiful day. Taehyung, Irene, and the twins were at the amusement park and aquarium.
Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook were at Namjin Cafe with friends, discussing life. Jin and Jungkook had the day off, Yugyeom, Jackson, and others were working. Momo was watching Jungkook's twins in the cafe's back room.
A wonderful day, wasn't it?
Except… their husbands were at the window side tables, disguised as strangers, eavesdropping.
Why? Because the trio was with male friends who harbored crushes on them. The husbands couldn't stop their baby husbands from leaving, and the trio ignored them.
The husbands didn't like it.
"I'm glad we can meet like this. It's been a while." Minhyuk said.
"Right. I'm glad your husbands let you meet us, even though they're easily jealous." Wonwoo said, drinking his latte.
"Oh, they didn't." Jin said, causing near-spills.
"They didn't? Did you sneak out?" Suho asked.
"No. Don't worry about them." Jimin said, smiling and sipping his milkshake.
"Yeah, they're probably busy with 'business partners,' right?" Jungkook said.
The three smiled knowingly.
The three husbands at the nearby tables lowered their heads, regretting their 'business partners.'
"So, what happened?" Suho asked.
"Huh?" Jimin said, surprised.
"Something must have happened." Wonwoo said, leaning on his hand.
"Yeah, your husbands usually won't let you go. They did something to upset you, didn't they?" Minhyuk asked.
The trio smiled, a venomous smile.
"They didn't do anything!" Jimin said, gripping his fork.
"Yesterday, we saw them at a restaurant with their 'business partners', wearing revealing clothes, clinging to our husbands, their fake boobs practically attached to their arms." Jin said, clenching his glass.
"They let those girls do whatever they wanted. Before leaving, the girls kissed them on the cheeks." Jungkook said, clenching his fists.
"When they got home, they said it was just business. But the kiss marks were still visible, from those women's bright red lips, like they'd been bitten by a snake, oh wait, they were the snakes." Jimin added, leaning on his hand.
"So, no problem at all!!!" The trio said in unison, smiling widely.
Suho, Minhyuk, and Wonwoo nervously laughed at the trio's aura. They could practically see fiery dragons behind them.
"Your order, gentlemen." Yugyeom said, placing three coffees.
"Agh! It's hot!" the three husbands said simultaneously.
"It's hot coffee, not iced coffee! And stop stalking them! Apologize! You're the reason they're furious." Yugyeom said, wiping a cup.
"We didn't mean to. We didn't tell them because we knew they'd be jealous." Namjoon said.
"We wanted to push the girls away, but it would be rude." Hoseok added, pouting.
"It's the girls' fault, they knew we were married." Yoongi added, the others nodding.
"Still, if you'd explained, they wouldn't be so mad." Yugyeom said.
The three men looked defeated.
"You look like puppies about to be punished." Yugyeom said, amused.
"Let's exchange numbers and hang out again." Suho suggested. They exchanged numbers and created a group chat.
"Tsk! Trying to hit on our babies…" Hoseok, Yoongi, and Namjoon mumbled, gritting their teeth.
"Stop glaring! Apologize! Scared customers are your fault!" Yugyeom said, smacking their heads with the menu.
"Talk in the back, not here." Jackson said, returning from taking an order.
The J's friends left. Seeing their husbands at the counter, they ignored them and went to the back, followed by the three 'puppies'. Yugyeom and Jackson laughed.
In the back…
"We're sorry." the three husbands said, sitting on the floor, heads down.
"We wanted to push them away, but it would be rude and we're also in the middle of business proposals." Namjoon said.
"We wiped the kisses immediately. We told them we were married." Hoseok added.
"We're sorry we lied." Yoongi said.
The three looked at their husbands, arms crossed.
"Do you promise you won't do it again?" Jungkook asked.
"We won't! We promise!" they said.
Silence.
Then Jin sighed, "Come here, Joonie." Namjoon hugged him, whispering apologies.
The others hugged Jimin and Jungkook.
"You'll bring me next time, right? I'm afraid you'll get bitten by a snake again." Jimin said.
"I will, my mochi." Yoongi replied, hugging and kissing him.
"I'm sorry, baby. I won't do it again. What do you want me to do?" Hoseok asked, hugging Jungkook, kissing his face.
"You'll clean the house by yourself." Jungkook said, pouting.
"Okay, baby." Hoseok replied, kissing him softly, then nuzzling his neck, holding him close.
