“An adventure? Where?” Noa asked curiously.
Her head tilted from where it popped out of the chunky knitted blanket wrapped around her. She was sitting in the plush armchair in the corner of the room as she reviewed the status of the replica distributions.
Kyle merely shrugged as he began to hang the laundry to dry. “To the home of someone who holds great interest in us.”
“Ah, there,” she hummed in understanding.
“He shall most likely not be back today. Perhaps tomorrow or the day after,” he continued.
“You’re not going to bring him back?” she questioned.
“I do not wish to waste a Sunday there. Seeing as Miu likely entered that place of his own will, it seems he must have taken an interest there.” Kyle’s voice remained calm as he finished neatly hanging their wet clothes on the line, wiped any drops of water from the floor, and finally re-entered the living room. “The carrot cake shall have to wait until next week when the little one returns.”
