The Catch of the Day
Miu’s life had been becoming happier and more fulfilled with each passing day. In Sorent, he was free to revert to his true form whenever he wanted, and the vast ocean was just a short flight away. Plus, he was now back to living in the same house where he had first met Noa, along with his favorite babysitter. Whenever his guardians had to stay in the capital city, Miu would often follow along. Although the crowded streets were far more stifling since he had to remain in his child form, there was a whole range of new sights that he could excitedly explore.
Currently, Noa was observing him closely as he hung off the balcony at Kyle’s house in the Rendia District. She was wrapped in an almost-finished blanket as Kyle himself dutifully knitted the rest.
“Miu seems to really love the balcony,” she commented absentmindedly. “Whenever he’s here, he spends all day looking over the railing at the road below.”
