"Yūichirō's Outburst (Part 1)"
Ferid Bathory watched Aoki intently. "Crowley, the humans seem to have renewed their fighting spirit."
Crowley Eusford sighed. "Why ask me? You're far stronger. And even if I knew, what could I do? That human is incredibly strong. The four of us together are struggling to hold him off."
Meanwhile, Yūichirō Hyakuya approached Mikaela Hyakuya.
"Mika… Mika…" Tears welled up, his emotions overwhelming him.
Mikaela Hyakuya, however, remained calm. He wanted to talk to Yūichirō Hyakuya, but with Aoki's intervention, the battle had shifted in the humans' favor. He needed to take Yūichirō Hyakuya away before the opportunity vanished.
"Yūichirō, come with me. Leave the humans," Mikaela Hyakuya said, seizing Yūichirō Hyakuya's wrist.
Yūichirō Hyakuya was confused. "What? What do you mean? Aren't you human anymore?"
Mikaela Hyakuya didn't answer, but his eyes revealed his vampiric nature.
Yūichirō Hyakuya didn't seem to mind. He still felt responsible for abandoning Mikaela Hyakuya and the others years ago.
"Let's go. Let's escape to somewhere deserted. Let's live peacefully," Mikaela Hyakuya said, pulling Yūichirō Hyakuya away.
Yūichirō Hyakuya resisted. "What do you mean? Mika, I can't leave now! Aoki and the others are still fighting!"
"If I leave, I'll be a deserter! They're my family now. I won't abandon my family again like I did before."
The memory of four years ago flooded Mikaela Hyakuya's mind: his desperate efforts to get Yūichirō Hyakuya to safety, leaving him nearly dead at Ferid Bathory's hands.
Krul Tepes, the third progenitor, had intervened, transforming Mikaela Hyakuya into a vampire to save his life.
Since then, Mikaela Hyakuya had loathed his vampiric existence, knowing Yūichirō Hyakuya was out there, fighting to kill vampires. He couldn't imagine their reunion, but Yūichirō Hyakuya seemed unconcerned about his vampirism.
"Yūichirō, humans are greedy. They performed cruel experiments on you. If you stay, you'll be further persecuted," Mikaela Hyakuya insisted, but Yūichirō Hyakuya remained firm.
Meanwhile, Aoki continued to fight four vampire nobles alone, strategically placing Flying Raijin kunai. This was his most effective tactic.
Aoki wasn't just stalling; each attack targeted Chess Belle and Horn Skuld, the weaker two. He believed he could one-shot them.
Crowley Eusford and Ferid Bathory seemed to realize this and protected Chess Belle and Horn Skuld, knowing the loss of a noble would be a significant blow.
Aoki hadn't used Annihilation Thunder, his strongest technique (a guaranteed kill), uncertain if stronger vampire reinforcements were on their way.
This was his ultimate trump card.
While Aoki was incredibly strong, fighting four vampire nobles simultaneously was straining him.
Initially, he had the upper hand, but he was gradually being overwhelmed.
"Yūichirō! Come with me! The humans are only using you! Your so-called family is a fabrication!"
"Shut up, Mika! I don't know what you're talking about, but Guren Ichinose and the others wouldn't hurt me!"
Mikaela Hyakuya and Yūichirō Hyakuya continued to argue. Realizing he couldn't reason with Yūichirō Hyakuya, Mikaela Hyakuya tried to forcibly take him away.
He hoisted Yūichirō Hyakuya onto his shoulder, ignoring his struggles.
"I'm sorry, Yūichirō, but I can't let you stay here. I have to take you away!" Mikaela Hyakuya said, beginning to retreat.
Aoki was about to intervene, but Ferid Bathory and the others were starting to overwhelm him.
"Looks like I'll need the Demon Slayer Mark to keep Yūichirō here," Aoki muttered, preparing to activate it, when a sudden energy fluctuation made him freeze.
He looked at Yūichirō Hyakuya, who had stopped struggling. His eyes were blood-red, and blood dripped from his mouth.
Mikaela Hyakuya noticed the change. "Yūichirō, Yūichirō, what's wrong?"
He set Yūichirō Hyakuya down, but was shoved away.
Yūichirō Hyakuya screamed, his body contorting, black, wing-like appendages sprouting from his back like flowing liquid.
The screams continued, drawing everyone's attention.
"As I suspected. The humans modified Yūichirō," Mikaela Hyakuya said, his eyes narrowing.
Guren Ichinose sighed wryly. "What's going on? I don't know if this is good or bad. We wanted him to hold off the vampire nobles, but now…"
"…we've lost control," he finished.
Aoki, reacting instantly, teleported to Guren Ichinose's side before Ferid Bathory and the others could react.
"Hey, what's wrong with Yūichirō?" Aoki demanded, knowing Yūichirō Hyakuya was unusual, but unsure of the specifics. He looked to Guren Ichinose for answers.
"Impressive, isn't he?" Guren Ichinose said wryly, finding the situation strangely surreal.
"This is humanity's ultimate weapon against vampires, but now it seems…"
"…we've lost control."
