I hadn't wanted to come to this damn party.

Ethan's parties were legendary in Silver Moon territory—always packed, always wild, always ending with at least one fight and several hookups. Usually, I'd be front and center for that kind of entertainment, but tonight I just wasn't in the mood.

"Come on, man," Julian had insisted earlier while sprawled across my couch, scrolling through his phone. "You've been brooding for days. You need to get out."

"I'm not brooding," I'd growled, though I knew he was right. Something had been off lately—a restlessness I couldn't shake. My wolf was agitated, pacing beneath my skin at odd hours.

"Zara will be there," Julian had added with a smirk. "She's been texting me asking if you're coming."
