In the comics, Riot, Extreme, Lasher, and the unseen Scream were manufactured as five artificial symbiotes by an organization called the "Life Foundation," which separated Venom cells from Eddie Brock. It was because of this that the four of them were able to merge to become "Hybrid."
But the problem was that in the current 616 continuity, that never happened, so how could they merge?
"Can all symbiotes merge like this?"
[No, I've never heard of it at all—even though I'm useless, I have heard of a lot of things.]
"Are the four of them from the same family?"
[Symbiotes don't have a concept of family—but if you mean their parent, I'm sure they're not.]
Peter told Captain Stacy to get away, then plunged into the battle. At the same time, he sent a message to the Fantastic Four, who were a hundred kilometers away, asking them to think of a way to separate Hybrid from Ward. If that wasn't possible, permanent containment would also be an option.
Then, wearing his Iron Spider suit, he began a fierce battle with Hybrid.
In terms of size alone, Hybrid had become much larger. The Iron Spider suit's analysis showed that it was about two and a half meters tall, not as tall as a fully unleashed Venom or Hulk, but given that its body wasn't as bulky, it made sense.
When Hybrid saw Peter approaching, a single tendril from its back lashed out. The tendril expanded as it struck, instantly becoming a behemoth over ten meters high. The impact caused the ground to collapse, and river water poured into the port.
"This is interesting. We've never tried this before." Hybrid looked at its hands like a newborn baby looking at a new world. It ignored Spider-Man, who had dodged the strike, and used its other hand to enlarge and grab a small steam yacht, throwing it at him.
Peter nimbly dodged the steam yacht and fired an energy beam at Hybrid. Because he had consumed some bio-electricity, he wasn't as powerful as before. Finally, Hybrid seemed to feel a hint of pain. It looked at Peter, then extended a hand, resisting the high temperature that Riot couldn't withstand before. Then, it charged at Peter.
His Spider-Sense buzzed, but his reaction speed couldn't keep up. Hybrid grabbed the head of the Iron Spider suit, squeezed it hard, then let go and opened its huge mouth, biting down.
The thick metallic taste spread in Hybrid's mouth. It chewed twice before realizing it had only bitten the helmet of the Iron Spider suit. Peter had already made an emergency escape, then rolled under Hybrid's legs and flashed to its back. He then unleashed Venom, and the three-meter-tall Venom roared and punched Hybrid in the head.
Hybrid didn't move. It just slowly turned around.
"What a weak punch—you should be more like this!"
Hybrid punched Venom, sending the massive body flying. It tore through one building after another, shocking the police who were on guard. Captain Stacy immediately ordered everyone to evacuate and quickly withdraw from the nearby danger zone.
The flying Venom tore through buildings for almost an entire city block before finally regaining control of its body. It landed on the exterior wall of a building across the street and couldn't help but say, "Oh," as it looked at the buildings with large holes in them.
[I should probably take over.]
"No, you're not strong enough, Peter."
Alright, Venom, think about what Peter Parker would do.
Venom let out a strange cry and pounced toward the street, rushing back through the large holes it had created. Along the way, it constantly spread its symbiote biomass to stabilize the damaged buildings' overall structure. Then, it roared and smashed down on Hybrid from mid-air.
At this time, Hybrid had already walked out of the burning port. Two tendrils grew on the back of its hands, piercing the hearts of two police officers who were shooting at it. After pulling their bodies over and violently biting off their heads, Venom rushed over with a strange cry. Hybrid just waved its hand, and a huge tendril from behind it struck Venom.
But Venom's target was never Hybrid itself, but the tendril that was coming toward it. It seized the opportunity, punched the tendril, and then lunged to grab it, holding it as it landed on the ground. It then lifted the entire tendril, pulling Hybrid along with it and smashing it into the ruins of a warehouse that had already been damaged multiple times.
Venom landed on the street and came up to Captain Stacy, giving a direct command: "Captain, you need to evacuate to three blocks away. Uh, did anyone bring chocolate?"
Captain Stacy looked at the huge black, bare-bottomed monster that resembled the Hulk and couldn't help but ask, "Are you Spider-Man?"
"No, I'm his partner. I'm his suit. When he needs to deal with a big, stupid monster, I'm the one to do it. I'm strong." Venom said, pointing at the burning warehouse: "They are bad, I am good. That's about it."
"I've never heard of a living suit before."
"It's an advanced alien suit. Seriously, did no one bring chocolate?"
A胖 police officer took a box of chocolate from his police car: "Uh, is this enough?"
"Thanks."
Venom was polite enough not to ask if it was enough. It just swallowed the entire box of chocolate, box and all, then licked its mouth. It tasted good and replenished energy.
A commotion came from the distant warehouse. Four huge tendrils shot into the sky. Captain Stacy took a deep breath. He thought he had already encountered enough absurd things, but now he realized he was just getting started.
"You have to go up and deal with the big, stupid monster, don't you?"
"Yeah."
Listening to the commotion in the distance, Venom nodded, then got into a ready stance, clenched its fists, and charged toward the distant warehouse. Hybrid, which had gotten back up, also seemed to have become even bigger because of the attack. It looked to be a full three meters tall, and it also dragged its huge tendrils and charged toward Venom. The two behemoths, in the flames that symbiotes were supposed to avoid, threw heavy punches at each other's faces.
No one knew who would win or lose, but the entire police force felt the ground tremble under their feet. Captain Stacy took a deep breath and picked up his walkie-talkie to give orders: "Everyone, move the defense line back one block. Evacuate all blocks from York Road east, from 71st Street to 78th Street."
A voice came from the other end of the walkie-talkie: "And then, Captain?"
"Then, pray that Spider-Man wins."
