Spector Unit 6's firepower was already too much for the medium and large-class Hepolisk ships; combine that with the Phoenix crafts' ambush, and they were like fish in a barrel as Spector Unit 6's energy weapons tore through their shields and hull.
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Oh shit, it actually worked.]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): Oh shit, you're actually stupid enough to think it wouldn't.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Fuck you 4-horned bitch.]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): You wish dickless 3-horned.]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): The streamer didn't die, so the entertainment in the chat lives on. Kekeke.]
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Do we get to see what this NDS is now that it's at 100%?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): That's what I'm hoping.]
[[Please select NDS Mode.]]
"Planetary annihilation beam mode," Adam stated as he turned Spector Unit 6 away from the ambush and flew in the direction of the Hepolisk communication jamming ship again.
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Oh shit, is the streamer switching sides and planning to destroy the planet? Kekeke.]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Wait what? There's no way, right?]
[LadyErkath (Oceana 7): Impossible.]
[OfficialRowena (Oceana 7): You're kidding, right?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Even I'm finding it hard to believe.]
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Here's the age-old question, would you mind explaining, please?]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Right of course, my apologies. A planetary annihilation beam is what it sounds like: it's a beam of energy that is fired from a ship towards a planet. The beam then carves its way through the planet until it reaches the core, where it causes it to explode, thus annihilating the planet.]
[LadyErkath (Oceana 7): There are many weapons in the universe that can destroy entire planets. What we are surprised about is the fact that his mech is capable of producing the necessary power required for a planetary annihilation beam.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Normally, only capital-class ships and above are capable of firing a planetary annihilation beam because of the power requirements; only their neutron reactor is big enough to generate the massive amount of power required.]
[HackerSu (Trillion): It's likely to do with the energy his mech has been absorbing from the Hepolisk attacks.]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): That's plausible. If we take into account all the energy his mech has absorbed and combine it with the power output his miniature neutron reactor is capable of, which I might add is already ridiculous. It might actually be possible.]
[OfficialRowena (Oceana 7): Ok, sure, let's say all that is possible. Why would he use a planetary annihilation beam? He's not trying to destroy Fenix Nest after all.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I think we're about to find out, look.]
[[Neurolink Deployment System Online]]
As soon as Adam had made his mode selection, Spector Unit 6 started to change slightly. The orange sections, both on the mech and on the drones that were a solid colour before, all changed and seemed to become swirling energy that was the same shade of blue as the sections on Spector.
The outside of Spector wasn't the only thing that was changing, as within the cockpit, all the controls suddenly retracted before the cockpit chair leaned backwards as a leg rest raised, making it so that Adam was almost lying down.
[[Inititatin Neurolink]]
All of Adams' sensors suddenly faded, and the next thing he saw was the battle that was taking place around him. However, it wasn't through the viewscreen like before; now he was seeing it through the eyes of Spector Unit 6.
[[Neurolink operating at nominal levels]]
Adam tried to open and close his left hand, and as he did so, Spector Unit 6's left hand opened and closed instead.
[[NDS Planetary Annihilation Beam Mode Selected]]
The drones themselves all started to roam around Spector Unit 6 as if protecting it, just as the four shoulder cannons suddenly detached themselves.
[[Forming NDS Cannon]]
The four shoulder cannons combined to create an even larger cannon that Spector Unit 6 grabbed hold of, after which the blue swirling energy could be seen moving along Spector Unit 6's body towards the NDS cannon.

[[NDS Activation Complete]]
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Holy fuck, that looks dope.]
[Animefangirl (Earth): OMG, OMG, OMG ,OMG.]
[Emojisonly (Earth): 🤩]
[OfficialRowena (Oceana 7): What the hell is this?]
[LadyErkath (Oceana 7): A transforming mech? How is that even possible?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I have no idea.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Just who the hell created all this tech?]
Adam's perspective might now have been coming through Spector Unit 6; however, he still had the same HUD layout before him as always, with a few notable additions.
There was now a mini version of Spector Unit 6 in the bottom left-hand corner to represent any damage it sustained to its frame, as well as its targeting reticule and information that was being displayed.
"Phoenix ship Orange Sunrise, you are advised to pull back any forces you have between here and the Hepolisk communication jamming ship," Adam said as he reopened comms to the large-class Phoenix ship.
The targeting reticule locked onto a moon-sized ship over a hundred kilometres away in the distance, and after it did, Adam's vision zoomed in on the target before he tightened Spector Unit 6's finger, causing it to pull the trigger.
The chat watched as a giant beam of blue energy that sparked with lightning erupted from the NDS cannon and flew through space towards the Hepolisk communication jamming ship.
💫💫💫
"Admiral, incoming message from the Orange Sunrise." The capital ship's communications officer reported.
"Let's hear it." The Admiral said.
"They report that the unknown mech is advising us to pull back any forces we have between it and the communication jamming ship."
"Do they say why?"
"No, sir."
"Sensors, is the unknown mech within attack range of the communication jamming ship?"
"Only if it is carrying missiles or torpedoes, Admiral. The mech is still over one hundred kilometres away from it.
"Ignore it then and continue as planned."
"Errr, Admiral, the viewscreen." Another of the bridge officers said as he stared in shock at the viewscreen.
"What about it?" The Admiral asked as he turned away from the holographic screen he had been studying to look at the viewscreen.
"What the?" He gasped in shock as he, along with everyone else, witnessed a giant blue energy beam that sparked with lightning streaking across space.
"PULL OUR FORCES BACK NOW!"
💫💫💫
"Admiral, the ships we sent to attack the unknown mech are being flanked by several Phoenix ships and mechs." The Hepolisk capital ships' sensor operator reported.
"What? How is that possible? Weren't they all already engaged in battle with our forces already?"
"Yes, sir, I'm not sure how they did it, sir."
"Useless." The Admiral snapped angrily and started to reprimand the sensor operator until another bridge officer suddenly said.
"What on … is that?"
"What is what?" The Admiral said angrily as he turned to the viewscreen to see a giant blue energy beam that sparked with lightning streaking across space towards their communication jamming ship.
"Have the communication jamming ship perform emergency evasion."

Down on Fenix Nest, Tephe and the Phoenix squad had just eliminated another group of Hepolisks and were closing in on Pyro City.
"This is so much easier with Tephe helping us out." One of the Phoenix squad said jovially.
"What do you expect? Dragons are known to be one of the most powerful races when it comes to combat."
"Right, I heard that once a Dragon reaches a certain age, their breath attack can destroy an entire planet."
"No way, I don't buy it."
"Well, why don't we ask Tephe since she is here now?"
"That's a good idea," one of the Phoenix squad said before turning to Tephe, who was a short distance away and asking, "Hey, Tephe, is it true?"
"Is what true?" Tephe asked as she tilted her giant more to one side.
"Can a Dragon really destroy a planet with their breath attack when they reach a certain age?"
Tephe nodded before saying, "Aparently, I have never seen it myself, but I have been told that my grandfather did it once in the past."
"See, I told you." One of the Phoenix squad members bragged.
"Enough pointless conversation, if you hadn't noticed, we are still in a war zone. Tephe might have made things easier for us, but we still need to be mindful of our surroundings." Revi said in a reprimanding tone.
"Yes, ma'am." The other Phoenix squad members said in unison.
"Sorry about that, Tephe," Revi said apologetically.
"It's fine, I'm happy to be able to talk to so many people, being cooped up on a planet with only some servants didn't exactly give me many people to talk to."
Revi was about to respond when one of the Phoenix squad members pointed to the sky and asked, "Hey, what's that?"
"What's what?" Another asked as they all looked up to see a blue light streaking across the red sky.
"A meteor?"
"When have you ever seen a blue meteor, idiot?"
"Good point."
