As everyone was discussing City Defence being chosen as the map type, the feed that was showing the four mechs floating near each other suddenly started to change as the previously grey walls of the sphere started to fade away, and scenery started to quickly form around them until the four of them floated in the sky while looking down on the bustling city of New York. Skyscrapers reached to the sky while grid-locked traffic filled the roads

"Why does the air look so foul?" Lorelie asked with a frown.
"Global warming," Rowena remarked before explaining, "From the looks of most of the primitive vehicles they are using, it seems that most of them are still using the combustion engine, while only a few are using alternative power sources.
If we follow examples of other races that were primitive when first discovered, they are probably still using forms of energy generation that damage the atmosphere."
