"How is the giant undead alien that was hit in the face by Spector Unit Six's spinning weapon still not dead?" Raella asked in surprise.
"Most likely the heart is the weak point of the giant undead aliens, I guess they might not die even if their heads are shredded, as long as the heart stays intact," Dulaebella replied.
"That's kinda crazy, these things must have a crazy amount of life energy to be able to survive something like that," Raella said in surprise.
"Well, they're not exactly alive since they're undead," Honcho replied with a smirk and was about to continue when everyone watching the feed saw Excess Surplus suddenly turn and fire its blaster rifle and blaster pistol in the direction of Spector Unit Six.

Spector suddenly announced, just as everyone watching the feed saw the attack of Excess Surplus bypass the undead aliens and was about to strike Spector Unit Six in the back while it was distracted, when something intercepted the attack and blocked it.
It took everyone watching a moment to notice that the nearest spinning laser, which had previously still been carving up the head of the giant undead alien, was no longer there, and instead, the remains of two drones that had combined to absorb the attack were now floating behind Spector Unit Six.

[HackerSu (Trillion): It almost looked like Excess Surplus tried to shoot the streamers' mech in the back.]

"What happened?" Adam asked with a frown as he turned Spector Unit Six to face Excess Surplus.

"I thought we were in holographic reproduction damage mode?"
[[We are, however Excess Surplus is not. It seems the pilot deactivated holographic reproduction damage mode just before firing its real weapons.]]

Just as Spector finished, bolts of energy erupted from Excess Surplus's blaster rifle, blaster pistol and two shoulder cannons.

"Did Excess Surplus just attack Spector Unit Six?" Raella asked in surprise.
"That does indeed seem to be the case. What I don't understand is why two of Spector Unit Six's drones suddenly got destroyed when they were using holographic reproduction damage mode, other than why Excess Surplus suddenly attacked, of course," Honcho replied.
"If it were in holographic reproduction damage mode, the drones should have only been taken offline after receiving excessive amounts of damage. The fact that they were destroyed means that Excess Surplus used its real weapons to attack Spector Unit Six," Dulaebella stated with a frown.
"Wait, you mean it used live fire?" Raella asked.
"That does appear…" Dulaebella began to reply, only to be interrupted by Honcho, who said.
"Err, ladies, it's firing again."
Everyone watched as, without thinking and almost on instinct, Adam raised Spector Unit 6's left arm just before the bolts of energy fired by Excess Surplus hit.
Everyone watching thought Adam had raised Spector Unit 6's arm as a desperate form of defence, and were expecting to see it get destroyed, only to became shocked when they witnessed the left arm split open to reveal a black gaping hole before all the energy bolts suddenly deviated towards the hole, only to vanish a moment later before the split in the arm sealed itself shut again.

There was a stunned silence in the commentary box before Raella suddenly asked.
"What happened to the energy bolts?"
"That's not possible," Dulaebella suddenly said as she jumped to her feet and stared in shock at Spector Unit Six.
"What is it, Dulaebella?" Honcho asked.
"That's simply not possible. There is no way Spector Unit Six could have that ability, militaries and mech technicians have worked for two millennia to try and replicate that without success, it's not possible," Dulaebella continued as if she hadn't heard Honcho's question.
"Dulaebella?" Honcho asked as he shared a confused look with Raella.
"How, how does Spector Unit Six have that ability? How can it have beam cancellation tech?" Dulaebella continued more to herself than anyone else.
"WHAT!" Honcho and Raella asked in shock after they heard what Dulaebella said.

"THAT'S NOT FUCKING POSSIBLE," Director Opealbeard shouted as he jumped to his feet after witnessing the energy bolts disappear.
"Was that beam cancellation tech?" Maiya asked in as she stared in shock at the holographic screen before her.
"Not possible, that's simply not possible. No one in over two thousand years has been able to replicate that tech used by the original Black Knight during the Siege of Fenix Nest," Director Opealbeard replied.
"I understand what you're saying, Director Opealbeard, but then if it wasn't beam cancellation tech, what was it?" Maiya asked, causing Director Opealbeard to fall into thought as he studied the image of Spector Unit 6 on the holographic screen.

BEAM CANCELATION TECH!" Mika yelled in shock as she jumped to her feet and attracted the attention of everyone in the VIP box.
"What?" Tessa, Becky, Aphrodite and Eri all asked simultaneously after hearing Mika's remark.
"Now he's done it," Rowena said with a sigh.
"Well, he didn't exactly have much choice," Lorelie remarked as she looked at the holographic screen with concern before continuing. "According to Mika, moments before Excess Surplus fired its real weapons, which is why two of the drones were destroyed."
"This is going to cause a headache," Stacey said as she ran her hand down her face.
"Yeah, Adam, that's the way," Tephe said excitedly.
"Was that really beam cancellation tech?" Aphrodite asked as she turned to Rowena and the others before adding. "You four seem to know for certain."
Rowena sighed before replying, "We can't talk about it."
"The Universal Senate Decree?" Tessa asked with a frown.
"Yes," Rowena replied with a nod.
