"Outside?" Keerla asked in surprise before studying Adam more closely and adding, "But he looks just like a Terran, just…"
"Not as handsome?" Adam finished as Keerla's sentence petered out.
"My apologies, I meant no offence," Keerla said apologetically.
"It's fine. I'm used to hearing it. After all, even your little princess said that I'm nowhere near as handsome," Adam replied as he smirked at Liluth.
"I'm sorry. I hope I didn't offend you. I was just so surprised when you told me that you're from outside the known universe," Liluth replied in a panic as she blushed in embarrassment.
"I said it's fine. I'm just teasing you, little Liluth," Adam replied before he suddenly reached out and patted Liluth's soft golden hair.

Liluth froze in surprise as she felt Adam patting her head while Rowena, Keerla and the other women showed looks of shock. However, all the soldiers who were observing the interaction gripped their weapons tighter in case anything happened.
Adam stopped patting her hair as he noticed that Liluth had started acting strange, and he asked, "Are you okay?"
"What?" Liluth replied as she heard his voice before looking down shyly as she asked in a meek voice, "Why did you stop?"

"Should I continue?" Adam asked with a smile, and as he saw Liluth nod meekly, he smiled before he started patting her head again.
Rowena and Keerla just stared at the scene with shock-filled eyes before turning to look at each other as if trying to determine that they weren't the only ones witnessing this.
Finally, Keerla coughed lightly before saying with a smile, "It seems my goddaughter likes you, Mr…"
"Aunt Keerlaaaaa," Liluth whined in a low voice.
"Spencer, Adam Spencer. But feel free just to call me Adam. And Liluth is your goddaughter?"
"That's correct. Queen Riniya and I grew up together and have been friends our entire lives. She named me godmother to both Princess Liluth and Princess Ulesse," Keerla explained before looking at Liluth with a teasing smile and saying.
"Look at you being so meek; you're normally so straightforward or polite with people."
"My goddaughter says you're from outside the known universe, Adam. Might I ask exactly where you're from?"
"A planet called Earth, which is…. Spector?"

"Holy fuck," Adam replied in shock as he heard Spector's response but missed Keerla's question before he added, "Two hundred million, six hundred thousand light-years?"
"My, you did travel a long way," Keerla replied before adding in surprise, "You must have spent around five years in subspace."
"I hope you made sure to leave your stasis regularly for regular exercise and interaction, Adam," Liluth stated as she remembered the lecture she had just been to.
"Thanks for the concern, Liluth, but I spent almost three years in stasis while travelling through subspace, although I did play Space Rogue for a few months before arriving in the Sandanar Galaxy."
"Three years? You travelled two hundred million, six hundred thousand light-years in only three years?" Keerla asked in shock.
"You didn't leave the stasis pod at all in three years?" Liluth asked as she stared at Adam with wide eyes before they changed to eyes of concern as she looked him over as if checking for anything wrong while asking, "Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'm fine, really, but thanks for your concern, Liluth," Adam replied as he continued to stroke her hair.
"Mmm," Liluth replied simply while enjoying Adam's touch.
"Darling, I think that's enough stroking Liluth's hair, or are you trying to make your new wife jealous?" Rowena asked with a pout.
"Yes, dear," Adam replied as he stopped stroking Liluth's hair.
"Hmph, why are you fine with stroking Liluth's hair but not mine? You have never stroked your own wife's hair," Rowena complained while crossing her arms and turning her head away.

Adam sighed before stretching out his hand as he started to stroke Rowena's hair.
Rowena flinched slightly in surprise as she felt Adam's touch, causing her to look at him in surprise. She had indeed been hoping that he would do such a thing, but she never actually expected him to do it, so she couldn't help but smile and close her eyes as she began to enjoy his gentle caress.

"Oh, so you two are married? No wonder Adam's stroking your hair so affectionately," Keerla stated with a smile as she watched their romantic display of affection while Liluth touched the top of her own head where Adam had just stopped touching, while looking at the pair with confusion in her eyes.
"Yes, we're honeymooning here on Solarian Prime," Rowena replied happily while still keeping her eyes closed and enjoying Adam's gentle caress.
"Well, as a Solarian citizen, I am happy that you chose our planet as the location for your honeymoon, especially since you saved my goddaughter.
You must allow me to invite you to the palace. I'm sure the king and queen would like to thank you personally over a meal."
"Thank you for the kind offer, but we are actually trying to keep a low profile and simply wish to spend our honeymoon in each other's company," Rowena replied politely.

"I'm still more than happy to show you the way," Liluth stated quickly in a hopeful voice.
"Oh no, young lady. You're returning with me to the palace and staying there until we figure out who hired these Caninians to kidnap you and resolve it," Keerla said firmly as she glared at her goddaughter.
"Fiinnneeee," Liluth said with a defeated sigh. She had already expected this outcome, but she still couldn't help but try her luck.
